My AI "Second Brain" To Make Life Easier
Ғылым және технология
The two questions I'm asked the most often are "How do you stay in the loop with everything going on?" and "What AI tools do you use the most often?" In this video I answer both of those questions.

Recast's concept blew my mind, what a great idea!
Your generosity with sharing this is epic. It's so incredible that you show us behind the scenes process. Gives me inspiration and enthusiasm to play more with AI. You are awesome!!
Don't often comment on KZread videos but that section on going down a rabbit hole is spot on, I've learned so much since chatgpt came along, stuff I would have never had the time to get into, great vid
Another amazing video my brother! You deserve 1 million subs. The amount of useful information you provide is unmatched! Much love and thank you for the video!
Ten years from now you'll put on a jacket and find a mask in the pocket. "Oh man, what a weird year that was," you'll chuckle to yourself. Then you'll pick up your machete and continue across the wasteland, keeping to the shadows to avoid the roving gangs of cannibal raiders.

You are going places my friend. Your content is so valuable and i'm glad I stubbled on your channel. Keep up the good work 👊
17:11 THIS! I agree with you 100% and have found it to be the same for me as well. I've also noticed that my ADHD chaos brain is helped by Chat GPT so much to summarize the important bits and lose the fluff. It makes it to where I can stay focused and learn the material.
My mind is amazed by how my mind is thinking of using My Mind to search and organize things in my mind. Thanks Matt, You videos never leave my mind.

These are such good videos!! The information is provided in unbiased and digestible manner, which I love. Great job, keep doing your thing man!
It's important to acknowledge Matt and all creators doing this type of work for a very important reason: sharing these experiences enhances the opportunity for many more people to more deeply evolve their own knowledge base. We are on the collective empowerment side of technology and the right side of history.
I love that tool to have all your messages in one place. i always feel so stressed out by being bombarded from all directions because there are so many different places to communicate. Thank you so much for all these productivity tools and tips. 💡
Hey thanks for featuring Recast. I'm the CTO/co-founder of Recast. Super happy to get your feedback and/or answer questions here.
_Watching your videos has definitely BOOSTED the quality of my work considerably through the information you disseminate. You are a highly valuable resource to my enterprise just as much as the new A.I. tools you inform us about. Keep up the outstanding work and know that someone in the world TRULY APPRECIATES YOU._
I cannot tell you how immediately useful this whole video is. Thank you for sharing these tools and how you use them.
I hadn't come across My Mind before. Amazing. This is the kind of tool i dreamed of.
⚠️ This was is one of the most useful videos you have made. Not only for AI, but to productivity. It will help me to do my work as a musician and organize my life. Thank you so much ! ❤❤❤

So true 👍🏻 for me too. This video was incredible
Impressive. That is a gift you make to share your tips and tricks. Thanks Matt. PS: you forgot your secret sauce => incredible energy, curiosity and passion
Thanks Matt. You're a wonderfully positive presence in my life this year. I am grateful for all of your hard work and generosity.
"Hey Matt, Just finished watching your video on your AI 'Second Brain' and it truly fascinated me. I am immensely impressed with your approach to making life easier through leveraging AI. The way you broke down complex concepts into easily digestible portions shows your prowess as a content creator and educator. Your innovative ways of integrating AI into your daily routine, and the efficient ways you've showcased for task management, idea generation, and information processing is inspiring. This video certainly prompted me to rethink how I could utilize AI to enhance my own productivity and streamline my life. Your video content is always engaging and thought-provoking, but this particular topic resonated with me on another level. I'm excited to see where this 'Second Brain' journey takes you and how AI continues to shape our lives in the future. Looking forward to your future content and insights. Keep the excellent work coming!❤️❤️
Texts is the single most useful tool I've ever come across. Thanks for covering that one!!
That statement at the end is facts. Who woulda thought Sacred woulda been studying python, machine learning, data science, etc. and etc. and learn so much fields so fast. 😂 knowledge is power 📚📚

Just make sure it isn't just cursory, glossed over knowledge, letting AI do all the coding and not understanding what's going on. It's like speaking another language phonetically but not learning how to translate properly the meaning of what you said.
Keep ‘em coming! Love watching you and your channel grow 😊
Thanks man, you're so open and sharing it's amazing. I'm an AI specialist and I find your videos very useful to keep updated and get quick insights. It is so cool that you don't need to be a technical expert to have a good understanding of all this stuff and be a master of leveraging AI.
Your generosity is almost ridiculous! Thank you Matt. For us, your channel gets added to the list! 🙂And yeah, MyMind is awesome, for anyone! 👍
Matt, your honesty and generosity blow my mind. You even let us see your struggles and pull the curtain back on your trade secrets. It's inspiring and refreshing and I wish the world was more open and sharing. Humanity would go so much further in a shorter time frame if we all shared. I'm glad you're able to monetize this currently. I think that's a big impediment for many. Thank you.
Thank you for your aka MyMind, and helping us to deal with this information overflow. Very much appreciated, Matt
GPT's advice to reduce your posting frequency definitely helped. In the past when I saw you post so much, i generally avoided watching because it was too much content with not enough substance. But recently your slower but more focused posting schedule has helped me engage more and pay more attention when you upload.
Congratulations on 300,000 subs. You are so on top of the technology. Great job!!!!
I agree with you at 18:20 I'm much more curious the more I use the different things. Great video. And thanks for your website!
I’m always out of breath when your videos come to an end! Bravo on your content!
Incredibly helpful video - not just with respect to AI but productivity and organizational tools and tips I can apply to my daily workflow. Thank you so much! Truly appreciate your transparency and generosity in sharing with us
I agree with Matt - being able to get a summary or key takeaways from an article actually aids in the reading of the article itself. Many abstracts can be quite challenging to read without context, so again letting an AI do the initial explorative work for me really speeds up my thought processes.
Thank you Matt. The way you present information and the value of the ones you provide are unmatched.
Thank you so much. Each of your videos really surprise me how much value you put into each video 🥺❤️
Your personal use cases never get bored! Thanks for sharing Matt!
You are now my go to channel for this. Thank you.
Fabulous segment! Your work is greatly appreciated. Cheers!
thanks for sharing your whole process. The tools you mentioned are great. Thanks for your generosity and keep up the good work
Thanks for this great overview of your own workflow. Keep up the great content, Matt! 👍
Woah, thanks for recast!
Your videos really are the best. And you're way too generous in sharing your best practices!
Amazing video as always Matt! You content is always top notch. I noticed this video is different than some of your others. Feels like you were testing out some new filters at the start of the video cause there were lots of style changes and variations. I watch your videos at x2 so some of them were a bit much. I do like that you're exploring and testing things though. I do love love love the end where you recap the whole video into one sentence. That helped sink in some of the content you went over.
Man your content is so well put together, articulated and organized. Love your videos
I'm a bit of a perfecionist and there's a dounting amount of AI stuff i'd wanna go through and i often end up procastinating and feeling behind, because i just can't possibly keep up with all of it. With these tools i can finally get a big picure of everything i wanted to look at and then focus on the ones that are the most interesting to me. This is amazing, thanks for sharing Matt!
More data more data bring on the rabbit hole. I'm with you! so glad you're doing what you do
Your videos are amazing! Every one of them has something that I can use to improve my workflow.
Thanks for the quality content man! Simple and easy, no bs and a TON of value! 🙏
Problem I have with modern writing in articles, papers, etc. There's A LOT of boilerplate, you read 100 paragraphs that can be easily "compressed" in 10. That's why I love AI text summarization. And you are spot on! That way you can go through way more material and actually valuable information.
I like the new videos, but your videos like this always contain some new tool that makes my life easier. Thanks for this. Please keep them coming.
in all my years wandering KZread I’ve never subbed in such haste. great stuff
Matt, I love your content not only because you bring exceptional value, but also your personality is great... to the point, humble, and no bs Thank you! I read through your website. Question, any suggestions on ai for video that will help speed up the process of editing and creating for long form (already recorded) video?
Wonderfully helpful, thank you! Please make update videos of workflow changes
Thanks for sharing that first suggestion! I'm an author and I did something similar, thanks to you. I gave it specifics about the popularity of my books and my marketing strategy, and it gave me a bunch of new marketing suggestions I'm going to try.
Thanks Matt, my current fave YT channel hands down
thanks for sharing your insights and know how Matt. This is truly appreciated. I am almost 60 and have always been curious about how the future keeps developing from a technological perspective. Being a psychologist, I have an interest in understanding what gives an individual his/her construct of identity and so it is only natural that transhumanism and ai becomes part of that interest. Living basically fulltime on the ocean I come across many others on the ‘high seas’ who have absolutely no idea about how the world is changing at such a rapid pace and when I bring up the topic now and then the state of confusion that arises as a sheer consequence of the number of tools and developments that one could talk about is somewhat paralyzing. It is like explaining the functionality of the latest iphone to a 90-year-old who is used to going into an actual bank using a cheque book for daily transactions. I think that even a much younger person has a hard time keeping up with all this and from a demographic perspective our society will be very challenged by the speed with which all this is taking place as declining cognitive capacity is certainly something that befalls us all as we age. The divide keeps getting wider between those 'in the know' and those who just won't have the capacity to keep up (and ironically need an ai to manage, eventually). Thus, I would be intrigued to see a ‘General Manager AI’ in the future who/which can communicate with other ai’s to do literally everything without a person having to go and learn the workings of the various tools out there. I would assume that this would represent the ultimate tool and something that will appear at some stage. If you come across it, please tag me in if you don’t mind. Meanwhile I will try to keep up as good as I can and not get disheartened by the volume of new developments daily and keep following your channel to better understand what is happening ‘out there’. Thank you again - Take care 😊
Great job, Matt! Your video was incredibly helpful and easy to understand. I learned some new tools that will definitely improve my workflow organization. Thank you!
Thanks Matt, you are the definition of transparent. Thank you. As to anyone saying something about "not using your brain due to AI outsourcing", well, they obviously know little about this tech. Keep up the great work. In appreciation.
This video is absolutely brilliant. Thanks for uploading it
17:23 absolutely agree! Allows you to get the concept and dive into the deeper content once you know you're interested
I'm so glad you told me about chatpdf I am undertaking a part time PhD and don't have enough time to read research papers as much as I would like this will make my life so much easier!!! Thanks Matt
Matt I am literally going to start using these tools every day. I literally paused the video to make a MyMind account. I am an AI researcher and keeping up with the flood of information being released daily is overwhelming. These tools will really help manage the deluge. This is seriously the best non-research AI news and tools channel. Matt, 2 minute papers, and Yannic Kilcher are my holy trinity.
Extremely useful tools, so many of them I didn't know about, this is a game changer thank you so much and keep going❤
omg recast is insanely genius idea! i didnt even know feedly was a thing too gaddamn i've been missing out
Matt I have to say that the value you continuously bring to the table is just mind blowing bro.
Recast looks fascinating. Great work! Thanks!
Can't wait to get onto GPT-4, I've got so many ideas I wanna try out there :D Thanks so much for sharing what you use, I'm very interested in further developing my own "Second Brain" with AI tools as well as determining methods to help others
The last tool reminds me of Trillion. Back in the day, it combined msn messenger, IRC, and I think yahoo.
I really enjoyed your video about using AI tools to streamline everyday tasks and stay organized. It's impressive to see how you leverage technology to manage information and keep track of conversations. Your video has inspired me to explore these tools and see how they could help improve my own productivity. Thanks for sharing your strategies and insights!
Your videos rock! I can't believe how much I learn from them. Great job on this one.
Damn! Solid tools Matt, signed up and downloaded them straight away and these are great tyvm!
Tools and utilities are what's always driven my passion in computing for some reason. I love neat software that just does cool things. I've always been curious about all kinds of cool software, and these large language models such as ChatGPT are easily the coolest new software utility trend I've ever seen. It has me all excited about fun utility software all over again.
Thanks for the demonstration of Recast, I think it could be a big help with learning disabilities. Frequently as a kid we listened to audio book instead of trying to read it. Somehow that made the information easier to comprehend.
This is really cool! I was looking for a creative work flow. Thank you ❤
Brilliant video pal!! Amazing updates. Thank you 😊
12:19 Thanks for showing us chatPDF! There's so much amazing and cutting-edge information in research papers that is inaccessible to 99% of people because of how dense and confusing they are. Just like how Andrew Huberman is expanding the reach of research papers through his podcasts that make neuroscientific research accessible to everyone, tools like chatPDF are doing the same thing.
Thank you for this great explanation of how to be even more productive and thorough. Love it 🎉
You're the best! Thank you so much for sharing all these tools. 😊
You are insane! most youtubers will make 6 videos out of this topic if any. Thank you very much for the valuable informaiton. You are the real MVP!
Thanks for you consistent updates on all things AI. A thought: Could you copy and paste all the contents of the PDF and slap it on a google doc or Notion page and then have Recast and or Perplexity to read it that way?
Love your channel. Thanks I always check your stuff
Awesome sharing of tools and insights. Thank you!!. BTW, how do you have input such a variety of background screens? Do you have a video for that? Thank you
Thanks for all of your videos, much appreciated.
This is a fantastic list, thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Matt. This is SUPER helpful!
Wow! Soooooo helpful! Amazing. Thanks Matt! Great job! 😊
Your content is so valuable and insightful, THANK YOU!
Thank you for all the research you do. I am a person too who loves to go down the rabbit hole. I love technology and get happy when and overwhelmed with your content. For those who have an issue with this leave the channel and keep your words
This was your most helpful video yet, and that's really saying something!
Matt, you're 100% right, AI has enabled me to consume and understand far more information and increased my ability to go in-depth on topics that interest me.
Nice work, it is not lazy, we have a lot of things to read and processes to do but we have less time once AI starts growing, we need these tools to improve productivity
You are so right! ChatGPT and the AI revolution has put a fire underneath me like nothing else! Watching your channel is the highlight of my week! This AI revolution is the best thing ever and NO it won’t make anyone lazy! I honestly feel as though AI will make the world a better place! You seriously should tour the country and enlighten people on AI. Yes I know you have your channel, but there’s nothing like in person learning!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Good$hit Matt! Glad I subbed to your channel. Keep it coming man!
This is such a wonderful channel! Thanks for the great effort.
first reaction. One of the top 10 useful KZread videos I have ever seen. Thank You!
Thanks for sharing all of this! 💪🏼🙏🏼
Hi Matt, a suggestion for a future video: could you maybe dive in an dig up what tools others find helpful in a corporate office environment? Or even better in an R&D environment? While covering the aspect of IP protection? (The IP of the employer company)
Really helpful video Matt. Grabbing all of these to help me . I really did need this narrowing down to what I will find most useful. The AI world is overwhelming otherwise. Thanks for everything you do.
I appreciate your work, Matt.
