Yes but I have some limitations when it comes to this. If you’ve only been in their life for a few months don’t start acting like their parent and trying to discipline them like they’re your kid from the get go. Forms a bad relationship. My “step mom” did that to me and I absolutely hate her.

That usually means they don't want interruptions during the wedding, they don't want loud children's voices, they want alcohol being served freely. A child-free event generally means a child-free event. I've seen far more child-free weddings from childless couples getting married.

grace is such a little queen i honestly think ur so lucky to have her love this family ❤

I remember when my dad got remarried he said "No, I don't want you there, it's a traditional wedding and you'll be too loud and disruptive." I was a polite and quiet child, and also 9, not a toddler. Still hurts me at 17. This is precious, I'm glad she doesn't have to feel that way.

All the weddings I’ve been to had the flower girl in white, but some had a ribbon around the waist in the wedding colors scheme so it wasn’t all white

i was included in my parents first dance but not bc they wanted me to but because i interrupted their dance with a meltdown and they had to play it off cus it was on film 😭

This is pure magic for a girl her age, rockstar mom right here! It's so awesome she was included because she got to feel special on this day too. It's not just a day for a new couple, but a new family. If I'm in a position where I get married after I have a kid, I'll be sure to do some of these things. It's such a creat way for her to have good memories about this day because I know many children of single parents resent thekr step family for whatever reason, perhaps they feel they're losing their parent's attention or they don't know how to broach a relationship with their new family, but this was all handled so well. I'm so happy for you and your family.

She is photogenic.

My dad had a wedding in a very pretty beach in Mexico so me and my siblings got to take a week off of school to attend the wedding unfortunately it was no kids expect his own and me and my sister was the flower girl❤ I still have the dress and the shows I wore to the wedding and remember it very clearly it lays a special place in my heart

She is so kind and she loves her daughter so much She deserves everything ❤☺️

I was the maid of honor at my mother’s wedding as a teenager, it was a great experience and I had so much fun. She and her husband made sure to include me and I will never forget it.

I went to my dads friends wedding a few years ago. Their daughter was 5 when they got married. They also had a dog who was the ring bearer and he wore a bow tie 😂 but their daughter was the flower girl and they gave her fairy wings to do it because she said she wanted to look like a fairy princess. It was so cute. They also had a baby boy at this point and one of the ushers was the grooms brother so he held the baby up at the alter. So so sweet actually.
