@@H4CK09 Look around for local mma gyms in your area, see if they have fighters that actively compete, and if they do and seem like a good fit for you, train hard and train for a while. Take up an amateur fight when your coaches say you’re ready to see if you like it. If you don’t, you have that mma fight on your bucket list checked off, if you do like it, gain experience as an amateur. When you and your coaches feel like you’re ready, go pro and id you don’t wanna be on the world stage like the UFC, ONE, Bellator etc, then stay in the regional pro mma scene

I see this kind of stuff from time to time, everybody wants to fight to get to the UFC. I'm not sure you understand the reality of what you're getting into, every plan you made, throw it out the window. 9/10 times your timeline won't match up with your expectations. BJJ is a combat sport, you will get injured at some point, it's a combat sport my friend, injuries are constant. Be prepared to get your ass kicked, you are f all to anyone in the practice room, you're new to martial arts and have no background in any discipline. Bro I truly admire your passion and drive, but im telling you, MMA is one of the worst paths you can take. If you're comfortable with injuries, possible CTE, Traumatic brain injuries, brutal weight cuts and the grind of being shark tanked in the gym, go for it. However, take it from me, I started training at 16, Im 25 now and my reasons to train have changed massively overtime, now it's about keeping a healthy lifestyle and excercise. Do it as a hobby and for something fun, there is a great community. Hell even just doing BJJ competitions are so much fun, all I'm saying is, don't make this everything about your life. Think very hard about the consequences and what could go wrong, not just what could go right. This isn't basketball, soccer or pingpong, people are really getting hurt. I'm telling you, take this passion and drive into any avenue of life and you can be successful. I strongly urge you to watch Joe Rogans podcast with Brendan schuab, it was basically Joe telling Brendan to stop fighting and that there are more things to life. It's not worth it my brother. Im not saying this because I want to hurt your feelings and bring you down, In saying this as a guy who's been through it and watched many others go through it with minimal gain. Go train and acquire the skills and have fun, that's the most important thing.

Don't let people talk trash. Having goals makes people grow, good luck man. I gave you a follow. PS: things won't go as perfectly planned, don't give up and you can't fail.
Good plan, i highly recommend that after your current cut to 65kg you should definitely do a very LEAN bulk up and walk around much higher. This is because 145ers tend to walk around 165+. You COULD walk around closeer to 145 but you will have to refine your skill set very accordingly to the specific league divisions that you compete with. But, the reality is that most fighters just firm cutting bare weight to reach the lowest division they can so that they can have the biggest size advantage possible. I’ve read a few comments and seems like you’ve adjusted your plan accordingly. I hope you make it, seeing a journey like this documented would be very refreshing.
Best of luck bro

Thank you brother!!!!
See you there man, i have the same plan, so it looks like we will be fighting eh
Love the drive in you, best of luck. You will get injured especially if you are going to be pushing for the 5 year mark, it's more about managing injuries and training sensibly while still progressing. This is a hard thing to get right and unique to every person To make the best use of time the cut should still focus on sparring and improving technique, you will burn a lot just sparring, bag work, roadwork and make a lot of progress fighting wise at the same time. 5kg is quite a lot in water weight and will put quite a big strain on your body if that's repeated for each camp, have you agreed a weight with your coach and asked for his input? They generally know what's best for fight weight. I like it, realistic plan. There will be hurdles but don't give up champ.
Let’s go gang
see you in five years bro❤

This is not going to work respectfully, youre aiming to do too much too soon that alone is going to hurt you and also this is a combat sport and you clearly underestimate how dnagerrous competing in combat sports truly is that aswell will hurt you. Another reason why i say you wont make it is because your saying "i wanna be ufc champion" not" i wanna be the best fighter" in the world " this shows that your heart is clearly at the wrong place you clearly want the fame and notriety that comes with it not the actual sport of fighting and you dont like or appreciate the sport of fighting and have a true passion or deep genuine joy for it, you probably saw all these ufc fighters online and thought it was cool n shxt saw eidts and thought thats what u wanna be and now you wanna do it too. you may be lying to yourself thinking that its not like that trying to convince yourself otherwise but it will eventually crumble but i like that your doing cause when you eventually quit or stop atleast youll still be young and now you have experience and lessons youll be able to transfer into another path inlife which i think would be great

Honestly id just worry about going to class and technique for now. Become techinically sound on feet. Maybe have your base in boxing and muay thai and then try find a bjj or folk style wrestling club to join. Then you can dial in diet and cardio. If youre going anywhere good you will build semi decent cardio in training so long as you push yourself.

Hi. freestyle wrestling coach here. I recently came across your channel through a KZread recommendation and want to wish you all the best in your journey towards the UFC. Your plan seems solid, and I agree that focusing on boxing and wrestling will be crucial. But, starting wrestling later in life means that paying attention to the mechanics behind the moves is essential, not just the techniques themselves. Take, for example, the double leg takedown. It requires a series of about 10 different drills to make the move successful. So, only focusing on learning the move alone without the mechanics behind it, it will not work. Will fail you every single time. unfortunately. So, put on your wrestling boots, clear some space, and commit to the grind if you're truly hungry for success in this sport. Remember, there are no shortcuts to the top - only hard work And just think, while you may feel exhausted after multiple sessions a week, there's a dude with beard and no moustache out there training hard, ready to give you a run for your money. PS. You need to start competing in Wrestling events not just BJJ. That way you can test your wrestling against actual wrestlers.
@darthhopinator7195
13 күн бұрын
Can you give out some wrestling drills? I train with many wrestlers when i can but My main weakness is pure wrestling drills, I'm always slowing things down and working on technique. But because I'm mostly working on top control and weight management because i train at an MMA Gym, drills for pure wrestling will be nice because I don't always have access to the wrestling room. Always open to learn.
@AchillesWrestlingWorld
13 күн бұрын
@@darthhopinator7195 I am in the process of filming and uploading on my YT channel some warm up/ conditioning drills specific for wrestling. This are specific and will help develop the base for the penetration step/ double leg takedown. So please keep an eye out. If your aim is wrestling for MMA then focus on upper body takedowns from wrestling plus single and double leg takedowns, and for the ground control and domination I still think that judo is the best. Especially when it comes to "around the clock'' sequence and pinning someone, in order to ground and pound, work submissions etc. Hope it helps
