My 4.6 3v Mustang Mod List! Performance Modifications to Make Your MUSTANG FASTER!!!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

So I finally got around to making this video. I didn’t go thruugh the mods in the order that I installed them but at the end of the video I do have dyno clips in the order that they happened with the mods the car had at the time. I also didn’t tell the whole story of the car since I’ve had it and I didn’t include all the maintenance and extra stuff I’ve done to it (stuff like new rocker arms and lifters, spark plugs, etc.). We’re hitting the drag strip in the next video so stay tuned!!!

Good job man. I like seeing people do things different and not just listen to everyone else when they tell you it isn't "worth it" whatever that means. I mean 3v can be had significantly cheaper than even gen 1 coyotes so it's all relative. Not sure why these people can't understand this lol. You should throw an m122 blower on it with the department of boost gt450 manifold. Then you could upgrade to a gen3r if you build your motor. I think a gen3r equipped built motor 3v would be cool with cams and headers. 700+ rwhp. I have one on my 07 gt500 and I'm around 750 wheel with stock exhaust manifolds and a twin69 tbody. I'm also running 93/boostane (100 octane) and 20 psi. It's super badass. Thr 5.4 4v sounds wicked too like 3vs do and they got torque for days.

Nice. A couple of mods I was unaware of that I'm going to need. (i.e cluth cable, and I know I need suspension work). FYI: The GT500 4 piston Brembo front brake and rotor swap can be done on the cheap. And a 2-step can also add a little excitement.

Just coming in, hella late to see I love this--my 5spd 3v is my first car, and I've owned it for 7 years, 3rd owner at nearly 200k miles, and this thing is just a trooper, I'm looking to do the same. Overtime doing some suspension work and going for FBO and lito tuned. A stroked out, cammed 3v with some high flowing heads and screaming to 7500rpm just sounds like more fun than any coyote build and just want it to be a fun pro-touring circuit toy.

Hey Christian, you keep being you and enjoying your 3V - just ignore the haters. I follow you because we both experienced similar damage to our cars - I own a low mileage, pristine 2006 Kenne Bell Mustang GT running 9 psi. I really enjoy watching your posts. I'm at 495.71 rwhp / 453.62 wtq and enjoy the hell out of my 3V also. I've been on a few road courses in VA and tried a few tracks in the UK as well including Brands Hatch and Silverstone. I've installed Steeda Stages 1, 2, and 3 fully adjustable G-Trak suspension kits on mine as well as a Shelby (Fays2) Watts Link out back bolted to a billet Ford Racing diff cover. I provided some of my specs on your wreck video, but I'll repeat here. Kenne Bell Stage 2 (130mm throttle body) - 2.4L intercooled blower, Pypes 1 5/8 stainless LT's with catted X-Pipe and Borla ATAK cat-back, 3:73 gears, Comp Cam Stage 2 NSR cams, one-piece aluminum drive shaft, McLeod RST twin disk clutch with upgraded 26 spline input shaft and light weight steel flywheel with Blowfish shift kit (resolves the high-rpm lockout issue into 3rd), Barton shifter, Steeda brake cooling duct kit, upgraded 14" Brembo brakes up front and Steeda 13" upgrade out back. Installed a BMR tubular K-member and control arm kit and BMR tubular radiator support to lighten up the front a little. I run on 255/45-18 Nitto NT555 G2s in front and 305/40-18 Nitto NT555RII drag radials out back. Also have the Raxiom Vector V2 LED tailights like yours but with the black housing and smoked lenses. I've destroyed many corvettes who wanted to play and didn't expect my girl to be upgraded, Even embarrassed a Ferrari when I was overseas and he didn't know what happened - was hilarious. My Mustang was featured in a UK Ford magazine called Performance Ford back in Jun 2007 edition where I got to thrash my Mustang on a decomissioned runway along with a bunch of other tuned Foci - they were fast as hell. The Brits take racing very seriously - that's why they're nicknamed 'gas can alley' according to urban legend. lol Keep up the good work, bro. Cheers

Hey this might be a crazy question but I have gt500 throttle body with the adapter plate on my 05 fbo mustang gt and you were saying in the video you lost power with your nitrous plate on the throttle body. I install everything myself so that was free haha. In terms of straight up power mods it’s only been like 4k worth of parts. Suspension was probably around the 2-3k mark too. Drivetrain from the clutch to the gears wasn’t more than about 2k. The nitrous kit was around $1200. I ended up spending more on suspension after I crashed cuz I rebuilt all of the suspension so everything minus the sway bars and rear upper control arm are brand new.
