    Hi, Claudia, I see the difference, especially in the eye area. I believe we should feel free to do whatever gives us confidence! I don't hesitate to try things and one day I'll probably do a little filler. Thank you for sharing all you do. It's so helpful. I admire that you are willing to be vulnerable to help us in our journey to look and feel our best. It sucks that some people can be negative, but you have a tribe that loves you! Hope you are still enjoying Paris. Hugs!

    Claudia Hi! Your skin is just glass-it looks so good! I think because the thickness in your skin is greater, from the Sculptra, the health of your skin becomes more apparent. Your facial products, in my opinion, have helped the skin achieve the glass look, in conjunction with the Sculptra treatments you received. I am not kidding, your skin is prettier than anyone I have seen on KZread. The texture and health of your face is so wonderful, it is just like the Korean women all want to have--glass. Whatever you are doing, don’t stop. It is just causing you to have the prettiest skin out there.

    I know lots of people are worried about Sculptra but I had it and it just incredible . As long as the person follows the instructions and does the massages daily to stop granulation happening the results are incredible . Not only do you get the natural looking fullness the skin improves as a whole ! The body grows a whole new dermal matrix collagen , elastin and the blood supply improves . My skin never looked better . If you go to a skilled injector and do your own thing after the treatment of the regular daily massage the results are so wonderful long lasting and natural looking . Wow! That’s amazing! Remarkable! I love the results! I can definitely see the eye area improvement and the lower part of the face. I really think that anything that makes us feel better needs to be seen in a positive way and not criticized. I have not gone through any esthetic treatment but I would be more than happy to do so. Some people can see it as cheating, but it is as much cheating as taking a medicine for a headache instead of letting your body do the work. Why to be in pain when there is something that can help? Why to feel sad about ourselves when something can help us feel more confident? Esthetic treatments helps us feel better and there is nothing wrong with feeling better. Only when it becomes an obsession is a problem. It is Interesting because there are treatments that are accepted by almost everyone (laser, micro needling...) but there is something about Botox and fillers that make some people mad and I can’t understand it! They are as much of a treatment as laser or micro needling. I am so happy for you and I am so happy that you have decided to share your experience with us! Keep sharing it! Enjoy your weekend in beautiful Paris, sweet Claudia!

    Hi Claudia! I have been researching Sculptra vs Fat transfer. I just wish that Sculptra lasted longer. Are you still continuing your treatments? I love your videos! I am going to Paris soon with my sister and niece. I watched your brutally honest video about life there. I am glad that I did as it will be my first time. I have lived in California my entire life and I need to be surrounded by nature, the ocean and the mountains. Hi Laura, thank you for your very lovely and thoughtful comment. Yes, I had a few more Sculptra sessions ( I think 7 vials at this point) and I am liking the results. They are def. subtle, but I do notice them. However I did not expect to need 7 vials, which of course was not cheap. The reason I did not do fat transfer is the surgery involved to harvest the fat. I also do not believe that fat transfer, while it lasts longer than scupltra, lasts forever. And the cost of it is quite high as well. So for me personally, getting the initial sculptra and then a maintenance of once or twice a year seemed to make more sense. But of course we are all different. My sculptra provider loves fat transfers and wishes I would be open to it. As far as Paris, if it is your first time, you will love it. We came here 11 years ago and got engaged here and all we saw was romance and beauty. It is a gorgeous place, but every place is different to visit than to live. Where in California do you live? I lived in Monterey for 20 years and miss it so much. If I can help with anything while you are in Paris, or if you want to meet for a cup of coffee, please reach out. Hi, Claudia. I also have always had a very thin and often emaciated-looking face. I’ve had experience in past with both fat transfer and sculptra. Sculptra did an excellent job of filling out the hollows in my temples and seemed to last for several years. I never needed to do a series, as after one session, my cheeks would actually be much plumper/pillowy than I would have desired for a natural contour. It took years for the cheeks to finally look normal. But I can definitely vouch for Sculptra kicking things into gear for quite a while. You look amazing. Hi Claudia , I love your results so far .. there is a subtle difference especially under your eyes but very natural looking . I had a fat transfer over 10 years ago , the lipo hurt more than the procedure lol just a little bit from the side of my hip / thigh . I thought it was going to take care of the under eye area , ( miscommunication ) I will never have to do my cheeks for the rest of my life ! That was with a plastic Surgeon . my cosmetic dermatologist uses a very light product with my own plasma under my eyes and it has been 4 years ! I had sculptra a couple times to just lift my temples and sides of my cheeks, ( the fat made it a bit heavy though some has diminished and has come down some which I’m glad ) I’m about due for another this summer , it lasted about 4-5 years also , I just kept noticing that I didn’t need anything for the longest time . Wonderful to see your journey with this. I’m wondering if similar results could be seen for you with microneedling? I’ve been needling 14 years and I’m 58 with skin that feels pretty thick. I started at 44 when it was newly presented as an at-home procedure and I was noticing the aging to the left side of my face due to driving. Fourteen years later, there are no wrinkles left on that side and none developed on the right. I have no crows feet, lip lines, and my horizontal forehead wrinkle has diminished greatly. So I’ve been able to not only reverse the aging that I had experienced but have held it off for 14 years! The needle roller is $25 and The Ordinary Buffet peptide serum is $15 or so. These costs over one year may amount to $100 or less. That would be $1400 over the 14 years invested. Not bad.

    @@sutlana I have a Dr. Pen M8 now and love it! I usually do it once every three months or so…..but this is after years of reaping the benefits. Starting out you need to stick to your 6 week interval if doing .5mm or deeper. You can use a .25mm setting whenever you’d like for product penetration, but no deeper. Once a year I will do a 1.0 to 1.5mm roll for a really deep treatment but it’s not necessary to see lasting results. You could stick with the .5 to .75 and see great results over the years. This isn’t a quick fix but you will age backwards with consistency. This and sunscreen have been my greatest tools. I do use a retinol serum, as well. I got tired of the peeling with Tret….so went with Pixi’s Glow Tonic Retinol spray and love it! Their Glow Masks are my all time favorite!

    Claudia, I have to say that I did see significant difference in the front-facing photo comparison. Just as you were commenting that you could not see any real difference, I was thinking you reversed 5-7 yrs of time overall, imho, & yes- definitely can see the thickening/bouncier texture you mentioned as well. My observation is a softening, & more youthful firmness at the same time~ really quite lovely for three single sessions. Perhaps it has a bit to do with the fact that I study faces, so to speak, as part of my work/art process~ yet it must be more than just that, or yourself & others would not see much either? Interesting also that even your chin & forehead appear firmer/thicker as well~ very cohesive, without any seperation, so to speak. I would be happy with such results too~ glad to hear that you are.🌼 Thank you for deciding to share this process, as it is encouraging. To acheive that subtle, yet significant result is exactly what most of us are hoping for in these decisions we make. How lovely that we can help nature slow down a bit, while not resorting to drastic measures. *I meant to ask a while back if you have had any treatments- besides microneedling- on your brow/forehead area? I recall you mentioning, just not sure if it was yay or nay. Thanks again, your openess is appreciated~ Samantha in AZ/USA

    Hi Samantha, as always, I loved reading your very thoughtful and detailed comment! Thank you! How interesting that you are seeing such a difference. I do think it is often hard to see it in ourselves and I am happy to get your input. May I ask what your work is? You sure have an excellent eye for detail. As far as my forehead, I have been doing a bit of botox on and off in my frown line (which used to be crazy strong) as well as my horizontal lines. In the pandemic I actually started doing it myself and I now use much less than my provider used to. I still place it in my frown line and then pepper a bit all over my forehead about every 5 months or so I hope you are having a beautiful spring so far in AZ, lots of love and thank you again for your sweet comment xx

Could you please ask her about that? You are such a beautiful person, with a beautiful soul. How could anyone be against that? Have a blessed week! P.S. Hi Susan, thank you for your very kind comment, I so appreciate you! Dr Guzman did say in the first video that if someone has and autoimmune disease, Sculptra is contraindicated. I do think there will be providers who do it regardless, but I know she like to air on the side of caution. I think the risk is stimulating the immune system at the same time as we are stimulating fibroblasts. As far as the microneedling and sculptra. What I meant to say is that some people think if you do any sort of procedure, like micro needling or sculptra, filler..... then you can not possibly be loving yourself and you are doing it out of insecurity. That is of course very silly, but some people like to judge to feel better about their own insecurities. But, the two modalities definitely go well with each other, and I am continuing to do my micro needling in-between my sculptra sessions. I am glad to hear micro needling is working well for you as well, and 0.75 is perfect, no need to go deeper. Sending a big hug your way xx

    @@claudiaglows Actually there might be a point to this. I am not a vegan but there was a time when I was eating less animal products and substituted a lot with plant based proteins. I thought protein is protein. Did not seem to be the case as my hair started to become very brittle and even fell out after a while. Now that I added more meats again and animal products the hair is much better. It is just a guess but it might have an impact as to why some people build more collagen than others, among other factors. Its as if the Sculptra mobilizes the workers to build the house .. but if you don´t have the necessary bricks all the workers in the world don´t help. It would be worth the try to double the amino acids that you take in for a few months after your next session of Sculptra and to see if that gives more of a result perhaps.

    Hello beautiful We are our strongest critics and that’s a pity: others recognize us in a rather wholistic way than focusing on our flaws as we do looking at ourselves. Precious people will see also your inner beauty and that’s what I’ve been working on for the last 6 years (I am 51 now). Nonetheless I‘m getting Botox around my eye area - just for me 🤩. And that’s fine. The good thing with aging is that I‘ve learned to ignore other peoples‘ judging and focus on my personal development. So keep going with your self-love - it’s getting easier the older (and wiser) you get I assume ❤️. Despite saying that its ok whatever you decide to enhance your outer beauty: your body your decision 😘. Wish you lots of self-love and keep going your way!

    Hi Claudia, I am so sorry that you received criticism for doing Sculptra. It is so uncalled for. I have seen some ladies who are master aestheticians and they use and promote tons of gadgets and the best beauty products in the industry but they went for face lifts! LOL. So who is to judge us 'normal' people? Geesh. Actually I am booked in to do Sculptra next month but I have been in two minds about it. I have done filler before and i love the results but they get expensive as I seem to burn it off fast. (My face isn't so gaunt now after filler) So i decided on Sculptra but i really wonder if I want to as results are unpredictable and it is certainly not cheap at all needing few sessions. I am also concerned about nodules. I am a bit confused about the video as the Dr says one vial for you per session?? I understand it is a vial per decade of our age. Please dont get offended but I see very minimal improvement @11:11 in terms of volume for you face and she said three sessions?Maybe it helped with fine lines which means the Sculptra was like a skin booster instead. Or maybe 3 months is too early to tell? Or only 1 vial per session and high dilution is actually not right. If I want to do Sculptra, it is to get more volume to my gaunt face, not for skin quality. As many cheaper alternatives can achieve skin quality including devices and skin products. I wonder if fats transfer cost is about the same as 3 sessions of Sculptra? Do you have any idea? xx

  • @claudiaglows

    @claudiaglows

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you for your lovely comment! You are right, to criticise each other is uncalled for, but I know that in the end, it has nothing to do with me, and everything with the persons own insecurities. As far as the treatments, normally it is one vial per session. Some providers will do two, but I like the slower approach. You might need 3 vials, which is the standard protocol, but if your face is gaunt like mine, you might need a few more, depending on what you are hoping to achieve. Nodules are a possibility with filler as well, but since the sulptra gets diluted well, the likelihood of granulomas is small. Still, as Dr Guzman said, it can happen, but it can also happen with filler. Personally I like that sculptra encourages my body to produce more collagen but filler can def. be a bit more predictable, so you need to decide which one would be a better fit. Both are expensive, and for me, in the past, I have burned through filler very fast, so I am hoping this will give me longer lasting results. I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to ask more questions and please keep us posted on what you decide on and how it works for you xx
