It highlights how irrational and numbed we become in the depths of an ed and how much happier and carefree and funny we are when we are ourselves. Happy birthday love! This has honestly been incredible to watch - seeing the difference between where you were now and last year, just wow. My birthday is coming up in the next month, and I'm starting university in 2 weeks time, and after a bit of backtracking recently this has given me so much hope and inspiration again. I wish I could be as free as you around food, and this video proves that it is possible and I can and will get back to being the true Emilia and having happy birthdays again. I don't usually comment but I just wanted to say that this video meant so much to me. I have been in recovery from anorexia for about a month now and I just celebrated my birthday yesterday but enjoying celebrations is still a struggle for me. Your content has made all the difference in recovery, you make it seem possible. Thank you for literally saving my life and many others. Happy birthday Ro, you deserve all the happiness in the world. ❤️

I turned 20 recently and seeing this makes me realise how sad my birthday actually was. My mum didn't even get me a card and she only got one when I told her how that made me feel and there were no nice words in it at all :( I got no presents not even anything from my dad or my brother and most of my family didn't even send cards, no balloons or candles or hugs. I don't mean to sound ungrateful but i felt very forgotten and the birthday stuff in this video is like the dream for me even though it's simple and sweet.

This video made me so incredibly happy! Here’s to your twenties being too full of life to be half lived. We can see your energy shining and you seem so much more at peace. You truly deserve it. Sending so much love your way

Around this new year, i made a decision that no matter how much i dislike my body or how guilty i feel, i will just eat whatever the heck i want without counting calories, avoiding certain food groups,skipping meals strategically and so on.
