I’m a 20-year-old senior year nursing student living at home while working part time. I’ve always been fascinated by personal finance; my parents taught me the importance of saving the money I earn and receive as a little girl. I’ve been tracking my expenses since 2021, budgeting since 2022, and started using YNAB since February 2024. I’m currently focusing on investing and saving as much as I can while living at home. Throughout the month, I will post videos budgeting my paychecks and reviewing my income, expenses, savings, and investments.

I use Chase, my dad set it up for me when I was 18 for the sign up bonus. I plan on closing it soon :)

@@ScrubsandSavings21If you're a student, there shouldn't be a maintenance fee. I have the Chase College Checking. $0 for students

@ScrubsandSavings21 you should! If you go in person, you probably only need to show your Student ID. They may even be able to verify it through the National Student Clearinghouse. That's how businesses like Best Buy and Apple can determine if you're eligible for their student discounts
