Hi ElCapAddict I can answer a couple of those The Midgard Messer Carbine hole does go all the way through the blade ,the slide goes into it about 2 inches securing it from closing. The rest of the hole remains empty. It's a regular ultratech a way to tell is the bottom 2 screws are in line on the utx 85 the bottom screws are offset. Hope that helps . Maybe Drew will be doing a review of them later 🐊🏴☠️

@@ElCapAddict Glad it helped 😁 I emailed Drew about a month ago and didn't hear anything back, so I don't know what is going on with him. Whatever is happening I hope he gets through it and can start posting again. Hope you are doing well and are having a good year 🙂🔪
