My 2023 CForce 1000 Overland Overview

A quick video going over the mods I've done to my CForce 1000 Overland. I'll be adding some riding videos as well soon. Here's a list along with some links to the mods I added in no particular order. These are NOT affiliate links, I make nothing for recommending these products. I did however do a lot of research on KZread and Facebook groups and believe these are all top notch mods that you'd be happy with for your CForce 1000 Overland.

Hey Charles, are you talking the Gen 3 model? Man, they are nice. I might hang on to the Overland for a year or so and then trade up to the Gen 3. Looks like Europe gets the new models first, then us here in the states. 😉

I like the street legal kit, you would think they would all come that way. Lol

Yeah, I was bummed when I was at the dealer and found out the US models come with NO street legal equipment. I get jealous watching the European videos. They get completely street legal machines. Those guys can go anywhere. They literally leave from their house, ride through town, into the mountains, other countries, etc. It's crazy. This guy is one of my favorites. www.youtube.com/@atvoperator

Grab some stage one Hester Elka Shocks. The best upgrade out of everything I've done. Then Jet hot coat your exhaust system. I've spent as much upgrading my 1000 than I paid for it. 😂 I had main street cycle build mine. I dynoed at 92hp at the crank. I like what you have done broski! I mostly ride the country roads here in Georgia. Got about 2,500 miles on my 2023. Been good so far.

Hey Shawn! Yeah, the Elka's are a nice upgrade. To be honest, I might hold out a while and see how the new Gen 3's do and let them get the bugs worked out. Then maybe an upgrade? The Gen 3's are supposed to have 35% more suspension. I'm sure mine is over the 79 HP of the stock unit but plenty of power for an old fart like me Country roads sound good to me. Capital Forest and tight trails probably wasn't the best choice for my first ride, but I had no problems going up, it was coming down that bit me. I'll know better next time!

@ontheroadwithgreg The Elka shocks make this machine way safer. It's way harder to tip over, too, with the increased travel. It's night and day. I'm an old as well, 77 vintage. 🤣

@@shawndale1552 Wow, that does sound like a worthwhile upgrade. Do you mind me asking what the damage is for a full set? Do you just call up Hester's shop to order? Also, did you leave your sway bars connected? Thanks again!

@ontheroadwithgreg stage 1 is 1,460 to your door. It's worth every penny, sir. When I tipped over, I was going 3 mph across a steep slope. Thank God It didn't keep rolling! Now I can ride that same slope with no problem with the added travel. Barely scratched the camo paint. Handle bars took it all. Bent the to hell. Cost me 140 for new ones. Thank you, Jesus! Mongrel atv tires ride really well on pavement and dirt. I run a square 8x14x27 setup on those mongrels. Chefs kiss, they are. 🤣

@@shawndale1552 Appreciate the extra info Shawn, thanks! I scratched up both fenders, but had some paint already that was a close match. Taped them off and hit them with a couple coats. I've ordered some replacement factory decals. You'd have to look really close to see the damage. The fender flares did a great job. 👍

I have a ‘22 Overland. Bought new. Really liked it up until about 2 months ago. Dropped an exhaust valve going 20mph down the side of a road. Couldn’t get parts for 6 weeks so it sat. Finally got it back, now the right rear taillight isn’t working. Always talked will of CF. No longer. Overland is going down the road.

Appreciate the info Adam. Always good to hear both sides whether good or bad. Sorry to hear you ran into problems with yours. Mine's still too new and low mileage for a long term report. Best of luck with your next machine. 👍

@@beginning-reloading it’s a bummer. Only 625 miles. Just easy cruising. No mudding or anything like that.

Hello Greg, I am Carlos from Portugal, I am thinking to buy the 2024 or 2025 the CFORCE 1000 OVERLAND EPS, I am not a person who drive bikes, only cars. I do bird and nature photography and normally I need to have access to roads with dust, mud and is not possible do that with my personal cars, they are not 4x4, so I have taken few photos last 2 years, and now I am thinking to buy the ATV. How is the first day 😂? Is the speed trigger easy to work with the finger? I saw already your video where you turned 90 degrees your ATV. Thanks and best regards from Lisbon.

Hello Carlos from Portugal! Thank you for the comment 🙂The size of the machine you choose will depend on the type of trails and riding you'll do. If you are going into tight areas or windy, twisty trails, I would go with a smaller machine, like the 600. The 1000 is a very large and heavy machine. The Gen 2's like mine, have a really bad steering radius. I do believe on the new Gen 3's, they have improved on that. Maybe you've already done this, but I would go and sit on the different size machines so you can get an idea of just how big they are. The 600 will also be slimmer to sit on. If you're a young man, that's no big deal, but for me, the 1000 is very wide, like riding a horse, lol . So consider the terrain and type of trails you'll be on. A smaller, lighter machine might work better, but the 1000's are also very nice. Let me know what you decide! 👍

I was thinking in the 1000 Atv because has a lot of storage to transport all my gear and should be more comfortable to transport the gear, my wife or my son. I am also seeing an utv, the places are larger, big fields and large asphalt roads. Thanks for your reply.
