    Great video! I do have a question tho. How would you compare the Honda accord to your Mazda6 in terms of build quality, fit and finish, and the ride quality (which one has a softer, more smooth ride, which is more responsive)? Thank you in advance for your reply!

    looks like the shift lock release, a lot of Toyotas have that too. If you stick something in there (the key) and push the button and it lets you shift out of park without turning the car on. It could be useful if you have a dead battery and need to put it in neutral to get it onto a tow truck.

But I honestly didnt like the Accord that they showed at the auto show earlier this year. The 06-07 Accords are still my favorite Accords ever. But you're right, both are great cars. Hope you enjoy it when u get it!

    hey can u help me with something, whats the difference between the V6 engine and the 2.4 L one? because both cars got a maximum speed of 160 mph

  • @Intechdude300

    @Intechdude300

    9 жыл бұрын

    Sure theres really little differences aside from horsepower and the amount of cylinders the engines have. It doesn't necessarily mean that the max speed limit of the cars is 160 MPH even though the speedometer says so. Neither the 2.4L 4-cylinder nor the 3.5L V6 can do it unless you fiddle with their computers somehow to disable limit & mod the hell out of the engines, especially on the 2.4L. I believe the max is between 120-135 on these cars. To be honest I wouldn't wanna go 160 MPH in these cars anyways, nor stock or modified. They just weren't built to roll on with ease when in excess of 100 MPH. You can improve suspensions components & etc to improve but you're stretching the legs of a midget when doing that lol. I've done 110 MPH with this car before and it really didn't feel sure footed at all and the steering felt was lifeless, yet I've done 128 MPH in a 2000 Mercedes C230 Kompressor and the car rolled with ease as if in were on train tracks because it was designed from the get go to tackle such speeds.

    tanjali omar tanjali The V6 will be much faster undoubtedly but the 2.4L is the more reliable engine + the 5 speed automatic transmission is rock solid when when paired to the 2.4L. Not the the V6 is bad, it's a good engine too but IMO not as durable from what I've seen and the automatic tranny had many problems with it.

    Just a note, if you use the a/c all the time you may want to get it serviced, Honda dosn't have the best a/c and if it goes out it will be a $700-900 for a rebuilt compressor. And you can feel the drag and loss of performance on the V6 , so I'm sure it really noticeably with the 4cly, Consumer Reports just did a test on the 2012 Accord and found a/c robed over 3 mpg on it so thats why.

    Yup ac definitely Rob's the power for Honda vehicles in no other vehicles that I've driven Rob's that much noticeable power when you turn it on. I think it's because Hondas are usually down on low end torque and so when you go to accelerate that initial take off is hindered but up in the res you still have the same power response you need to pass but no low to mid range punch and when you turn it off you can definitely feel the increase in power

In fact, I sold this car a few months after this video & bought a 2000 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor (It's a sedan) & my insurance was $4 less than the Accord. And a few months after that, I changed over to a 1999 SL 500 Roadster & there was no difference lol :P
