This is second place for me, #1 is the white and red 1998 r1. My third place is the black green and golden accented zx-6r (2016ish) which is a lot newer than my first and second place bikes

I did the same! Bought a 2003 954rr for my first bike too. She’s a great bike

It's FireBlade with a capital B all later ones (after 2002) were Fireblade , this was in recognition of the ones designed by Tadao Baba the last one being the 954rr

Just bought my 1st 954 about 2 months ago, had been sitting out side a buddies house in his side yard for about 6 years. I paid 700 for it, so far I am about 700 into repairs and replacements parts. I am getting older now So I am turning it into a sit up bike. LSL upper triple and bars with brembo rs front master galfer brake lines and renthal grips. Should be a blast once it is completed and road worthy again. Also replacing all coolant lines, replaced oil, and replacing fuel tank.

You're very brave. As for the stabilizer probably put it on for wheelie control. It's a nice looking bike please keep us updated.

I have one exactly like yours, smooth and comfortable unlike my 2000 R1 which is a brute power wise and not very comfortable but the 954 is my daily ride. Beautiful and smooth, I love both but for different reasons.

Congrats! the bike looks great! also note that the steering damper scotts value is five hundred bucks! so was a great deal! Enjoy it. I cant wait to get mine next week! :)

I bought one in March for 3200 felt like I paid a lot for mines but it looks brand new and has 17k on it when o bought it. But it’s bad ass runs great

Greetings from UK. I am awaiting a courier to deliver a 2003 model to me with 12000 miles on the clock (blue one). Had an Urban Tiger previously, which was fun being, also, very light. Enjoy your machine. They are incredible.

Just bought a 954rr 02 for 1200$ with a cracked case. Got it patched up for only 200$ 23K miles . Btw it’s my first bike 😂. Only ever road dirt bikes every now and then

mate you can get replacement fully painted fairings that are fairly cheap and really nice that paint finish is sketchy

SladeRR I bought mine a year ago and I’m thinking about boosting it to keep up with the newer bikes, my bike won’t pull a 3rd gear wheelie so to flip it wow 😳 has to be first gear.

2000$????😢 I paid 5500 here in Michigan, the 2nd owner 55 year old man owned since 2011 had 7k miles. Now has 11,500 miles bikes Clean I love it has gpr 2.0 and some other goodies. And all stock parts.

Hard to beat anything for only $800 bucks! If you're handy and can do the work yourself comfortably... I'd buy it if it were me. Especially if it runs already. Good luck buddy!

3:00 try using PlastiDip instead of paint that way you can easily remove it if decide don't want blacked out shield anymore.
