My 1969 Oldsmobile 442 being delivered
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In 2019 I bought a ‘69 Oldsmobile from a guy in Connecticut. It took a while to find the right one but i found an old video ad on Facebook and was able to finally track down the owner and luckily it was still for sale.
After some negotiating we reached a deal and so I had the car shipped to Georgia. This is a car that I’ve wanted for a long time.

I like your attention detail. That got passed me until you brought it up. Beautiful car !!
IMHO, the best year for this generation of 442. Love those taillights and fastback roofline. Looks stunning in red.
Can’t beat these old muscle cars better than the garbage we have today
I wish i could have that experience.Love those 442's.
I bought a 69 442 in 1999 Cameo white/red interior. Thank God i havent had to sell it for anything, not always easy keeping a car like that for 25 years. I have a 17 year old son that plans on taking it over some day in the future. He absolutely loves it.
God I remember those days what a beautiful machine⚙️⚙️⚙️🔥🔥🔥
Looks stunning
Beautiful!
If you had lived in Glen Ellyn Illinois back in 68-69, red 442s like this were what the local police were issued. Saw one cop crack the throttle in one of these, right downtown. I still remember that roar.
Beautiful
My buddy has a 68 convertible 442 . All original but motor , trans were rebuilt. Dark blue with black convertible top .
Beautiful machine. Sounds great.
Just another beautiful American muscle automobile. Congrats!!
Mustang guy here but that is beautiful! I'd own that all day

I’d hate myself too….but I’ve done just as bad. My father told me “nothing stays the same forever.” Boy, was he right. I once owned a 1972 Cutlass S. There was just something about that car that made it the perfect size and I loved the shape. I would have bought a 442 but I just didn’t have the money. Cutlass S with a 350 2 bbl was the closest I ever got.. It had the exact same body and the same really solid build quality. Olds was on top of its game back then.

My father ordered a stripped 68. But he included a 350!!!
That is a beautiful automobile! Happy for the new owner.👍 I had a jade gold 68 , it’s one of the cars I look back on and wish I still had it.
@ Bill C - very nice 1969 442. I had one in the mid-70s. It was brown with a black vinyl top. I also had a 1965 442. A deep red just like your '69. I hope everything is working out with your 442.
What a glorious day!! Delivering this car 🚘.. now if only they had a cool muscle car emoji lol
Nice car and property…
I had a 68 cutlass and i too hate myself for losing it,but this monster is beautiful only one car comes close and thats the Chevelle, but i will take the olds everytime son🤘
Congrats... I had one recently. Great car and year. Fun to be had.
What a beautiful car...and it's not one of those "me too" cars...
Remember, of all of thse classic cars, in those days, we simply accepted tham as normal. These are what everybody was driving. Not many VWs or MGs, and for a long time, zero Japanese cars. Most people never heard of BMW or Volvo. Great music on the AM radio, trustworthy TV news, friednly attitudes from strangers.
Omgravy!!!!!!!❤❤❤
Badass rocket!!!!!
Hey would you happen to know the paint code? Beautiful color!!
Wish I had my 68 back, what a fool i was.........
So tell me how do you get in and out of that car when it is in that trailer?

How much would it cost to replace the cam?

A new bumpstick is about $250.00. I hear a lot are made in a foreign land and are shti quality. Look up Elgin Camshaft it's more expensive but a good product. I believe they are still in Santa Rose Ca.

Depends on the cam, last cam i bought was just under $500, i wish it was only $250, Competition Cams always worked great for me, ran all types, hyd flat, solid flat, solid roller. @@dantheplumber3233
