LACI FAY!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS….. You MUST check out firefly1052 on eBay! He bought “several hundred 1950’s dead stock dresses from a store in Missouri, that was closing….IN THE 1980’s”!!!! These dresses have never been worn! I see tags still on them! They are AMAZING!!! I immediately thought of you, and I was so excited to let you know!!!! My mom and I had the pink pant pajama set from Sears. She often bought us matching sleepwear when I was a little girl. I remember those days fondly!

I love vintage sleepwear, everything was so beautiful. The first black with pink one could be worn as a dress.

Beautiful night clothing! My mother always tossed out anything over 2 years old, but I did manage to keep a housecoat my grandparents gifted me in 1971. Still in great shape since I didn't wear it much. Hugs from PA. ❤️

That black set was stunning. I also loved the Asian inspired outfit.

Laci, you look beautiful in every outfit but the rich jewel tones are extra lovely. My mother had several two-piece sets; they're called "penoir sets" ("pen-nwah") They're so feminine- you must feel like a duchess wearing them to bed!

Lovely! Van Raalte made some beautiful nightgowns and slips many years ago. The button detail you refer to in the Oriental pajamas are called frogs🌹

That pink is what was called shocking pink one of designer Elsa Schiaparelli’s signature colors. The pink pajama set looks like the pajamas my late mother in law wore from the time I first married in 1970 until she passed away in 2008. It got harder to find the sets in later years.

Yes the "princess" ones in pink and blue are so fun!

I remember in the 1960s you could buy these real pretty night gowns real cheap.

The Greek goddess gown is very unusual and striking! The orange and yellow glasses butler/caddy looks great!

Oh my fave was the pink and black, the pink pajamas gave a Laura Petrie vibe and the pastel rainbow set gave name a Blanche Devereax vibe🥰

I couldn’t decide between the black nightgown or the one that look like a Greek goddess one. So beautiful !!! They were all great looking sleepwear but those two were my favorites 😊👗🌸🌼🌻

They're all beautiful, but my favorite is the elegant black set. 🙂The one set made me think of my grandmother. She was an amazing seamstress & sewed for Sears many decades ago. I love all your videos, but especially the vintage cooking ones sprinkled in. They take me back to memories of cooking & baking with my sweet grandmother & mom when I was little.

I’m SO glad I found your channel! I love cats, wear red lipstick, and always looking for MCM & Deco decor especially stars or sunburst designs, my favorite. I’ve always been into retro, even in high school. Lana Turner was so beautiful- I try to copy her look with the glamour waves. I was very lucky to find a mint Max Factor metal compact with rhinestones and starburst design. It was in original box with an evening bag and matching lipstick case - Lana Turner wore Max Factor. I wish Max Factor was still available here in the USA, that is what all the “glamour girls” wore. (that and Revlon) I never been able to find the pretty decor you have. You have a such a cool home. Back in the 60s/70s we called them negligee's I used to wear them .when I worked on the lingerie department we often sold nightdress and dressing gown set (negligee ) to brides to be for their wedding night

Wowwww sleepwear from back then was so beautiful! I think my favorites were the white robe with the draped shoulders and the adorable nightgown. The last one was so pretty and cute too, definitely goddess vibes 🤍 I used to have a vintage nightgown from the 60s I'd say, it was a very light mint green color that was sheer and had a white bow at the collar. I loved it to pieces, literally because it sadly came apart 😭

I loved the pink set, that had the nightgown with the alternating bands under the bust in an upside-down V, and then the black set. So pretty!! A video I'd love to see would be about the different fabric prints of your vintage clothes.

I just recently found this channel in my feed. I enjoy it greatly. It takes me back to better times and it is so well presented. This is the second fashion show l have seen. I can honestly say there was not a single nightie or set that l did not find pretty and evocative. I especially like the négligé/peignoir sets. Thank you.

Fabulous! I used to dress up in my mother’s peignoirs and negligees. But my favorite was the long chenille robe, fitted at the waist. You look just magical in your finds.

This video has to be my favorite of all your videos so far. I love vintage sleepwear! In fact, vintage sleepwear is the only sleepwear I own. My love for vintage sleepwear goes way back to when I was a tween (but it wasn’t vintage then) and my grandma bought me one for Christmas in an Orange-ish color. I couldn’t believe it when I found the exact same one in pink recently when looking for vintage sleepwear on Etsy!!

I’m 60 and remember going with my mother to Reading, PA to a Vanity Fair Factory Store. My mother is 84 and adores robe and nightgown sets but they are very expensive and difficult to come by. The last set I bought her was a cotton set by Eileen West in the Vermont Country Store online catalog. It was $85 for the robe and $75 for the nightgown.

Love your videos they give me a warm feeling of nostalgia when I watch them that is so comforting. Also don't you find that the older cloths were made so much better with a much higher quality ?

The hot pink and black reminded me of the old days

My favorite nightgown is the black one, which is weird because black is my least favorite color. However, that one is gorgeous & very elegant. I'm also noticing that vintage nightgowns are very translucent. I found one this past weekend at a consignment shop. It didn't have a robe & was plain but I mainly didn't buy it because it was so sheer. Now I know they are mostly sheer & will look for one with a robe. Thanks for sharing your collection! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
