Hey, Marshall - congrats on 150! Pretty cool that you were able to sort of come full circle :-)

I have owned 2 1976 Hondamatics. I still own one of them. I should offer a correction on a couple of items. 1. the 750 automatic was only offered for 3 years, not 4. 2.the "Hondamatic" was only offered in 1976 and had that distinctive " banana muffler " with a 4into 1 header. As an asside, Craig Vetter was contracted to supply Fairings etc. until Hondaline started designing their own. The bike in the video came from the factory with a fairing, double bucket seat and probably hard saddle bags as did both of mine, I also had a small trunk that was keyed alike to the ignition. These 750's are extremely rare and are becoming more desireable as the years go by and are being restored and shipped to the EU for premium prices, ( sometimes into the low 5 figures.

Congratulations for being lucky enough to ride 150 different motorcycles. Also thank you to Rusty for making the 150 such an interesting ride. I for one, have never heard of a Hondamatic, and i'm a 70's and 80's rider. Maybe they were not available in the UK? Though I love the channel of yours, the exceptional views you treat us to and all the varied bikes you take us on, this for me was by far my favourite. Not only for the views, but for the quirky motorcycle i've never heard of. Thank you both.

She is a bit different. People like it when they ride it. But is kinda more scooter ish. Would I have gone out to get one. Probably not. But it’s fun now I got it. Great around town. I rode the dgr on it last week. It will just be my vintage quirky bike.

I remember the "auto's" not being desirable at the time just bc they were auto. I had a 80 or 81(?) CB900F super sport. Fast & great mcy.
