Brilliant collection! Lovely display, very jealous!! I've got 120 f1 cars 1/18 & 1/43 displayed, nothing compared to this!! Amazing.

Jesus, I've got a rectangular glass cabinet with about 20 F1 cars ranging from Senna 1989 McLaren Honda to Sebastian Vettels 2010 red bull. This is sick

Amazing! I'm a collector myself mainly of Lewis. Deciding how to rearrange my collection of 1:18 in my display case. Do I go top to bottom 2006 to present or present at top and bottom shelf 2006? First World problems! 😉 😂

Such an amazing collection. I only collect minicamps models right now, but is there a huge difference in quality between other brands? Ive been hesitant to collect other brands as I'm a bit OCD about them all being similar quality and along the same style design wise.

Minichamps is average quality... Check out BBR and Amalgam they're fairly priced and high quality.

@@rock-oz7eg For me those brands are way too expensive unfortunately despite how beautiful and accurate those models are I can't afford them. I guess those are targeted more towards the diehard ultimate F1 collectors and the Minichamps ones are best for casual collectors like me. I've got mostly Minichamps, Onyx and Hot Wheels and customised them with decals so they look better.

Hi, the name plates you have. where did you get them? I've been after something like those for ages for my collection. are the y free standing or leaning against the from wing? Nice collection by the way. must have spent some dosh!

thanks :) the name plates are custom made from wood (triangular cut pieces) and a printed sticker placed on the front.

Awesome, if you dont need em send em to me they will be in good hands, just starting my own collection. ;)

Holy shit... Gotta say, not a great McLaren collection, but an awesome, awesome collection overall. From Fangio's W196 to the Tyrell six-wheeler, it's so so cool. Can I ask, where did you get the mechanics on the bottom shelf from? I'm looking for Red Bull mechanics, but there's nothing on the market as far as I'm aware.

Hi first of all thanks a lot for your comments :) hehe its a growing collection....... never ending story. Regards the mechanics there were sets from McLaren, Ferrari, Williams and Toyota only ever made and are discontinued for a long time now, you may find one selling on ebay or so. Red Bull never made.

Jason McLaren You're totally welcome. You seem really passionate about your collection, and I respect that in a man ^^ But, too bad about the mechanics. Looks like I'm gonna go with plan B: Get the F1 2010 game, rip the 3D files for the mechanics out and see if I can 3D print them. Thanks anyway!

The best are Exoto, but there are many others like CMC, AutoArt, Minichamps, Spark etc etc

I can't see the Renault R28, you can't no miss it.

Where is the GP2 engine?

but some models from particular manufacturers can go up to Eur500 easily and even further up. Its quite an expensive hobby but quite satisfying and worth every cent spent
