I just bought this earlier today from their website. I got 35% off so it went down to $67.99 with tax it came out to be $74.96. I paid it with my PayPal account n was awarded $20 discount for 1st time use so it came out to $54.96. Now that's a deal!! But it gets better. I then text a coworker n sold her my Logitech k380 n Pebble mouse for $50. So if u think about it, I just got me an MX keys mini for $4.96. Less than $5 bucks 😁😄

I just got this keyboard and mouse combo. One cool thing is that it can use the same new Bolt receiver. BTW one comes with the mouse but not with the keyboard. I guess you would have to use the keyboard with Bluetooth/unified receiver, if you only get the keyboard and don't have the Bolt receiver. But it's such a positive surprise. Logitech has come a long way. Seems like they actually know how, and want to make better products now. Even the software hasn't shown any issues in the few days I have been messing with it. I really like how the software doesn't have to be running for the customization to be in effect. Because both of these have internal memory to store every possible setting. Having wireless devices rely on an app running is a recipe for unreliable behavior. The reason why I got the mouse was to have convenient way to control audio volume from my couch, using the extra scroll wheel. But seems like I'll use it for so much more. Might even replace my wired mouse with it, for certain tasks.

What would be the benefit of using the bolt receiver over bluetooth? The alienware desktop I bought (second hand) just paired up both devices wireless and they work so great I hadn't even considered doing it otherwise? And really great points in your comment... I want to see your review!!

@@TheSAHDLife An other review said the bolt receiver makes a better connection. It's less interruptable. But if you don't have issues with bluetooth, there might be no difference for you. I would probably try bluetooth too, if it means having fewer dongles connected to PC. But these two are my only wireless devices, so I use only the bolt receiver. I have only used them for a few days. Can't really do a good review. The mouse is a bit heavy, which can be a benefit for fine movements, like you said. Overall wish it was lighter. If it was lighter and had a wired mode, I wouldn't need a second mouse at all. And this makes me want to get a new gaming mouse with silent switches. When I use my headset, the microphone picks up my gaming mouse clicking really bad.

And it also has rechargeable battery built in, like the newer Apple Magic Keyboard V2. That`s great. I don`t like the arrow keys on the Magic Keyboard V2, so i recently switched to the big dark version with touch ID. But that`s to big for me, and i often tapped on the the other keys above the arrow keys. I`m happy now with the Mac version of the MX Mini, would be really nice to have a dark version of it! I wanna use the Mx keys mini with the Bolt receiver but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried multiple options: used different bolt receivers I own, reset the keyboard , switched between the 3 connecting buttons,,.. it’s my business laptop and I have no admin access to install the logi options software. Btw with my regular Mx keys (for business) and its logi bolt it works perfectly fine. 🤔

I guess this is the best option available (all "low profile" mechanical keyboards like K3, are not really low profile, when compared to scissor switches), but there are two glaring problems: (1) the lack of key full customisability (not just function keys). This should be possible by firmware update, but Logitech just doesn't do it. (2) the lack of home/end/pgup/pgdn key column. I.e., I want the 75% layout that some laptops have, and even Logitech's own Mechanical Keyboard Mini has. Why the hell did they add the column to the mechanical version, but not to the scissor switch version?

@@TheSAHDLife It's funny, we as consumers have so much power and don't use it. If people said we are not buying that iphone and followed through when they first pulled that crap, they would have put the charger back in the box or given out vouchers etc. But, alas. the majority just said take my money. Companies see what each other get away with and follow suit. Then just laugh at us. It's incredibly stingy and despicable considering the premium cost, not to put the bolt receiver in the MX mini box Greed.

@@abdullahsalim5389 to be honest my friend I am not sure. I just use the built in bluetooth for the mouse and keyboard myself as it works 100% with how I use everything. If I found out I'll let you know!
