Every single game I play has people rushing. Sure you have players holding power postions but I have about 17 hours into the game and most matches have people rushing around. It is a sweatfest. The game isn't perfect but it is surely better than the last 2 MW games even if the SBMM is outrageous.

I knew this was coming when they released the mw2 remaster as a campaign only for ps4. All I've ever wanted was a straight remaster of mw2 so I could enjoy cod again. Instead we get this greedy competitive AI rigged bullshit. They would have made everyone so much happier if they just copy and pasted the old mw2 with touched up graphics and old matchmaking systems. At the very least it would have felt like something we haven't played in ages because we're so desensitized to the fast paced sweat fests and money grabs we get now.

Don’t get me wrong I’m the first guy to shit on call of duty the past 5 years but I find this gameplay to actually be ok 😅 I know there a lot of sbmm but honestly if you’re good enough it doesn’t really matter, I’m just happy the gameplay itself is in my opinion the best it’s been the past 5 years

What you described regarding skill based hit detection and all the issues around that, I actually have that happen still to this day in MW2019. I'm a keyboard and mouse player, one match I'll get a 1.5-2 kd. Next match I go 5-20. It's like how? I didn't forget how to aim and shoot ffs lol. 🤣💀

I forced myself to play it for 4 hours and felt miserable.

Back when you could chill after a day of school and still go 52 - 5 without SBMM making me want to jump out of a 12 story window. I've consistently had a 3+ K/D my entire gaming life but the past few years it's now around 1.00 which is exactly the point of it all (SBMM). They've won, they've got my money and my will to live!

This game was the first CoD where I really felt the “ghost bullets” thing. It’s always a coin toss whether or not I win a gunfight when I shoot first, and it sucks.

I tried console this year so I had to option to not play with cheaters but turning crossplay off time limit runs out and people camp more. Gets boring. Turn cross play back on and everyone’s running around going 100mph. All I can do is sit in corner and wait for them to lap around the map like a idiot lol

Skill based hit detection is a real thing for sure.

The amory system is definitely linked with the sbmm now. Seeing way too many last minute heroic comebacks from the enemy team. The first 3/4 of the match they get their shit pushed in then the last few minutes they become supersoldiers that can't be stopped. Fighting for my life trying to play the objectives and going on losing streaks in the double digits from day to day and always seems to be after I've unlocked my first reward.

When I seen the Zombies mode I thought "oh nice zombies like the good old days :D " and went to load in to realize it is just a rip off of DMZ. They couldn't even make a proper zombies mode.

Yup my co workers and family don’t believe me. Only time I convinced someone was my gf at the time in 2019 wanted to play. She got her assbeat 2-20 like every game. BO4 she was getting better up to a 1.0 kd doing 2.0 some games and doing really well. Well all that training and shit I taught her went out the window she stopped playing with me because she couldn’t play on my level lol.

Haven’t played MW3. I can say though, for years now. It’s always seemed like a switch gets thrown in the middle of the game. Thought my buddies and I were crazy for thinking that. Glad you’ve experienced it.

It becomes very obvious if you also play other FPS game. Since MW19 the games have become extremely inconsistent, constantly losing gunfights that you should easily win. People who pretend it doesn't exist are coping so hard.

My problem with Cod is damage register, 90% of time i shoot and hit the target first but i get killed first. When i watch the kill came i see the guy shooting me first and killed me in micro seconde while my bullets start shooting right and left lol.

I've have to get two semtex kills in a daily challenge to unlock the semtex grenade. Makes sense.

Even mw2 sometimes i shoot first and the bullets do no effect sometimes and i say to myself how come i shoot him first and the bullets seem to pass thru him

MW3 legit this happens sometimes when I have momentum and doing good on my screen I’ll put half a clip on someone. They’ll turn around and hit me with 2-3 hits and I’m dead. Watch kill cam and my guy doesn’t even shoot a bullet and then shows him doing 2-3 hits like I was the dumb one like nah you little bih I had him dead to rights and his azz didn’t even realize it.

Still crazy how they didn’t add shields to MP to increase the TTK. At least give people a chance to get into a decent gunfight.

The way you never know if you win your next firefight reminds me of a slot machine. I think Activision figured if they aren't allowed to sell slot machines that give random cosmetics, they could turn the gameplay itself into a sort of slot machine so those who really hate to lose would keep chasing the highs of feeling like they're winning when the game is in fact just manipulating them to keep playing.

I just found out the nifty fact that they don’t even include Molotovs in Multiplayer; right after I grinded hard to unlock it from Armory

That no hit detection clip was insane. Serious question anyone think that Microsoft will remove sbmm going forward? Personally don’t see it happening but for any franchise resurgence I feel it must happen.

Im playing DMZ in MW2 and its still full of bugs, i would think it would make sense if they fixed the previous game first and then release the next one?

I like how the fact that the person that killed you you couldn’t see, killed you in like three shots even though it takes between five and six, depending on how far you are away. I’ve had problems where I hit my shots from across the map and it’s like 9-10 shots. But they’ll still kill me first.

Idk I decided to skip this year's COD.

I wish to the lobby gods I got players that awful in my games. That was like watching someone's dad go up against bots.

We need a beta map playlist, so many of these maps are so bad!

been complaining about player visibility since “operators” came out, bo3, infinite warfare, and bo4 did it great with putting bright ass red lights on people but even ops with bright skins are still impossible to see, also it killed opposing sides like rangers and spetznaz to streamlined meaningless side’s

I would recommend Eveyone to reverse boost on their main account or have a 2nd account to reverse boost and session join on.

The in-game manipulation will eventually be acknowledged and become socially accepted- probably over the next couple of decades. By 2050, these sort of practices will be totally normalized, and people will continue to look at above average skilled players negatively. Because let’s be honest here, the foundation of SBMM is disdain towards people more skilled than others. And the gaming companies simply want everyone winning (and spending) equally. So it’s only going to get worse.

Its almost like buying a game that you got for free. Wait. It is buying a game you got for free.

The ping or connection in this game is horrendous. If you haven’t bought this game don’t. Wait for a sale or free to play weekend. The game has dead silence so you can sit in a corner. 😂

What did you expect? We haven't had a direct sequel immediately after in CoD history (CoD 3 might count but that's ancient history at this point). They always took 1 year breaks between the MW and Black Ops games. This was clearly meant to be DLC and not a full priced game. It can't stand on its own. The campaign can be finished in less than 3 hours, all the multiplayer maps are from 2009, and zombies is just DMZ with PvE elements.

The more I play this game, the more everything you say is literally happening to me and is facts, most big channels who even have a “voice” in this comm don’t mention anything about the visibility issue, scarcity of content, boring slow big size campy headglitch maps, inconsistent gunfights where you shoot jellybeans and get melted in 3 shots, game/pov/perk bugs, ui attachments system, etc this game is draining to play and it’s so hard to get myself to keep playing it and like it still

Dude im going to get flamed but my son got the game and to me it feels nothing like the beta. It plays very well and I haven’t had any performance issues. I didn’t play the first MW so the maps are new to me. Its the best MW I’ve played. My first COD was ghost so I don’t know what the glory days felt like.

I literally have a video of the skill based hit detection I couldn’t believe it honestly I was like wow they fr made SBMM even WORSE

I'm a hardcore player but these maps are 2 huge or some of them feels like ground war sometimes only mode I really have fun in is war mode.

It’s insane. Everybody kills me in five shots at most. I can land 12 shots and they just run away. Trust me, I’m not good enough to be nerfed this hard. My ping is usually 6…I rarely win gun fights even when I get the first shot.

Mine went for a walk yesterday down the trade in shop. No more of this shit for me!!!

faster movement unfortunately will make netcode seem worse. When the game is slower paced it helps with quick peeks around the corner to be easier detected.

To improve the visibility you should put the field of view (FOV) setting as low as possible… in most FPS games it is good to turn FOV up but it sucks in this one

on god, i had agame today about one hour before this comment. it was headquarters on estate and im no CDL pro but i can hit some clips every once in a while, and sometimes i might end a game with 50 kills and a 2 or 3 kd. I shit you not, it put me in a match where literally nobody on my team played the zone, except for the players that couldn't go positive and couldnt score more than 20kills while of course the other team is just stomping us. I dont know where it came from, but i just started coming in hard with the clutch , back to back triple kills on one of the hills for over a minute to tie the game up. meanwhile the rest of my team still bottom fragging on the OTHER team, and in one hill the other team stomps us again , its literally pointless for me to try with this group. and i say in match chat. You can't tell me this game isn't rigged when you look at how much im outscoring my team damn near dropping a nuke and we still can't win. NONE of the other decent players on the other team said anything, but it was the other team's bottom fragger that tried to make excuses saying the SBBM rigging wasn't real. NOT even one of my own teammates said anything... Now this is usully typical for a cod match, but here is the weird part. INSTANTLY , i mean instantly the game tries to put me into another match. I can't even backout to the menu, and THEN it straight up disconnects me like its almost a ban , gave a weird gray error message but didn't ban or shadow ban me , and no "playlist update" one of the weirdest disconnect i seen in my life. Sometimes I think the algorithm isn't just some script or program running lines of code. I think its a legit AI the same as ChatGPT or Bing, it just can't talk but it can read what people say just like one of those AIs, and think about how many people those AIs are reading at one time, so its 100% feasible for it to read essentially a whole chat room of messages and internalize them or process them. The AI been in the game long before the voice com drama.

I seen one video the other day where dude was talking about changing a transmission but used hick word for it rhymes with granny just change the g and there you go and he got communication banned by AI that was listening to him tell his wife in real life about his car. 😂🎉 yay to less rights than before.

Multiplayer is absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced in a call of duty game. The hit detection is awful, the SBMM is insane, nobody moves and just sits in corners or on there side of the map. It’s shockingly bad

As long as people are still buying this game every year, they will never care to actually fix it. Period.

Everybody plays so passive it seems, migrating from corner to corner, window to window, and if you dare to run out into the open, let alone anywhere in the map expect to be beamed by some dude mounted on a window sill or head glitching over a barrier

I got the game on release day and refunded it that same day, and its so true, u legit cant see the enemies, maps are boring, menu is trash, guns suck, campaigns trash, hit box are ass.... bro my list goes on

They maps are familiar but seem larger. They really dont feel rite.

I would say they feel larger because most of us are running around at 120 FOV.

They were always this big it's just that now most people are hard 🏕 that you just die if you move so you don't even see half the map

I was playing a couple hours ago and I noticed I was aiming at people and it’s like my bullets weren’t hitting them and at times the bullets would hit. Shii high key be pissing me off. I’d rather play gta5 and wait for gta6 then play this shiii facts. 💯👌🏽

i though i was going crazy, when after a few bad games, i felt my crosshair sticking to people when using m+k. Don't quote me, but something else odd was that every time it did i kill the player that was doing best in that match.
