If you kept Ozone and Scarecrow alive up to the point where you have to ditch the house, the follow you to evac at a certain point. Ozone stays behind to cover you but then gets sniped by a bullet that comes out of nowhere then Scarecrow gets fuckin nailed by a mortar shell through direct impact. Those are scripted deaths so you can’t save them beyond that point

If that happened earlier, Ghost and Roach would not have been killed. Unfortunately, as Price is warning Ghost and Roach about the betrayal, it is already too late because they were already killed by Shepherd as Price warned in the radio in the final product of the game.

The ending everyone wanted. But never got. But now thanks to the guy who created this we finally got it.

No, this is a mod. Price always tells you Shepard is not to be trusted over the radio. Unfortunately Roach is assumed to be too injured to talk and Ghost has his comms destroyed. Did you even play the game?

They should add a secret mode after you conpleted the game, some sort of an alternate ending, that would certainly be fun

Detail: Roach is still considered KIA in the end cutscene, this is not an error, but actually recorded this way because Shadow Company does not want to admit they lost 200 men to guy missing half his internal organs.

Impossible. Roach is heavily wounded. They're surrounded by 2 armies, pretty much can't survive. That's why this ending is valid, bring the impossible. I like that.

You have no idea how bad I and my folks wanted to do this when we found out about Shepherd's betrayal. I think countless of people tried to shoot Shepherd before this mission when replaying the game.

COD should actually add this ending and make it a whole new secret ending. This clip was amazing!

This feels like a secret spec ops mission you unlock after beating the game on veteran.

It’s been YEARS since I’ve played this game and this still makes me incredibly happy and somehow fulfilled, like I just got something I never knew I needed but now that I have it, I can’t imagine life without it lol

I’ll never forget playing this as a kid… no KZread .. no spoilers hell I didn’t even have internet. This mission in general is probably one the most iconic in the series

i like the game logic in this one...200 enemy soldiers vs 4 on a field in a 15 meter radius, choppers dropping reinforcements next to the 4 guys close enough to see the color of the eyes...should've also added sudoku puzzles for the 4 guys to solve while dodging bullets

That's like saying that you got fast food so you can't complain about hair/insects in it The game tries to act as though it is somewhat realistic. Hell even Rambo showed the most elite green beret surrender in such odds. We're just saying that it was a stupid and unrealistic mission and it would have been much better if it was say a retreat through the woods constantly having to turn back to ambush squads

should've been gets adrenaline rush with distorted hearing and always bloody screen able to wobble walk where he needs to go without looking like he's feeling the injury, why? because adrenaline does help get rid of pain.

This video is so satisfying. I wish they add an alternate ending type of thing in call of duty games, just like Far Cry, then this would be the perfect alternate ending. btw amazing video, Mate. Thanks for posting. 👍

damn, just playing the soundclip of Price a few seconds earlier can make a whole different outcome

Despite continuity issues with the cutscene still saying Roach is KIA (which since the cutscene is a rendered video thus difficult to edit) I love how 1. Price's warning was on time 2. The slow mo for when Roach has the chance to clap Shepherd 3. Ghost yelling "AMBUSH" when he was counterattacked 4. Survive the whole fucking army 5. The entirety of (what's left of) the 141, i.e. Archer and his sniper team gets down there and fight with Ghost and Roach (always thought Archer is a cool sod) though them saying details they'd only known if they're on separate high ground is a bit off. Props. Mad props.

An entire army of highly trained mercenaries whose only tactic is to land all their troops in the middle of one field basically on top of heavily armed special forces troops one helicopter at a time? Were these guys trained by Zap Brannigan and hoped to force Roaches built in kill limiter to trigger his instant death animation by sending wave after wave of their own men to die to Roaches guns not realising that the limiter was already removed by the injuries Roach suffered earlier?

This was very well made.

The objective after killing shepherd "survive a whole fucking army"

Sheperd reminds me of the “kill rourke” situation in a previous ghost title. You shoot the bastard, probably in the head, and he’s underwater while unconscious, probably drowning, yet he still survives and drags you off while your brother just watches and doesn’t bother trying to shoot him.

I just love how the music cuts out when Roach shot Shepherd

Imagine if this had been a Mason situation like in Bo2 where you could actually save Roach and Ghost if you kill shepherd, the whole game wouldve gone so much differently

this is the best engine i could imagine, like i've seen all the videos of what would happen otherwise but this is my actual wet dream

Blud came from injured to perfectly fine

i would have believed this if this was my first time playing
