honestly all that is happening lately really took the joy out of KPop for me, every time I listen to a male singer or group i have this question in my mind was he a part of something like that am i supporting a criminal? a rapist? how can I know? it is a beautiful song and MV but my heart is unsettled. for me women rights and wome empowerment is so important if I have to choose between women and KPop i will choose women rights. I feel the people involved havent realy shown remorse yet maybe they will in the future but a letter or a message of apology is far from enough. if a man truly understands his wrong doings he should start proving it by standing with and supporting abused women and not just with moeny but with actions with speaking for them protecting them. this is the only way i can forgive a sexual offender

@@ZoharNoyMeir You described perfectly my feelings. I felt sad, at first, and then scared. Because no matter how much you love your favourite idol, they will always have some secret. Some will be innocent, others will be bad. My resolution now is to try and love kpop differently, in a more detached way. I can still support my favourite singers, dancers etc even without devoting my life to them. I haven't lost faith in the kpop industry, I've lost faith in human beings. What happened reminded me that idols are humans, and they can make mistakes. They deserve to be blamed, and sometimes, even be given a second chance.

@@ZoharNoyMeir ikr, at least members of Highlight are self-aware of those things, take Joker for example, was envolved, made an apology letter, and LEFT THE GROUP AND COMPANY, every other male idol involved in this just kept quiet and got kicked out, joker was the first one (that I saw) that actually took the initiative and left because he knew what he done was fucked up, that shows that he is evolving and trying to become a better person imo

GiKwang is the main dancer in BEAST and HIGHLIGHT, so I don't think that his dancing ability is underrated. And I wish to see him acting more, really want to see GiKwang as an actor

I believe it's his previous company's fault that he and his group members were not properly blown up to us international fans like bighit did to bts. I mean beast was huge among east asian countries but rest of us were not even aware of them. I myself found about Gikwang in 2016! Sooo mad that i was oblivious to such talent
