@@adrasthea17 They are very much still officially together 😊 Since they're their own ceo now, "Around Us" will def. make an official statement if they were ever to disband. The earliest, Doojoon, will be released from military in approx 130 days. Their youngest still has 370 days to go though 😅

Y'all, that was, hands down, THE BEST reaction! I'm crying😂 But, it's Gikwang, you just get attacked from all sides/angles😭 Seriously, not only has this man THE face, he has great voice and moves flawlessly. A bit more about him, he currently serves in the military (yeah, I know😭), a member of Highlight (formerly Beast), they have their own agency now, is also an actor, appeared in the show WHY NOT: THE DANCER, along with Taemin, Eunhyuk from Super Junior and Jisung from NCT, was a judge on Dancing High show (highly recommend it!). Beast under Cube had 6 members, only when they rebranded as Highlight they had 5 members.

His debut was not well received and he was thrown back into Cubes dungeon for a couple of months before debuting in the legendary idol group we now know as B2st/Highlight. B2st was known as a recycled group of failures/rejected korean idols who had failed at debuting or where not well received after debut. Many of the B2st members where actually Gikwangs back up dancers when he was a solo. After B2sts debut it took them about a year to make their name known and have since than been that rejected/unappreciated group that was the underdog and has since than achieved legendary status as the first group in history to dethrone the big 3 labels and win a daesang award. Their sales as well as popularity in Korea to this day are still no joke and this group produces all of their albums and solos. Them and Big Bang are the reason as to why so many groups are now producing their albums. Pentagon, Btob, 4minute, CLC etc... where inspired by them. B2st made Cube and without them and 4minute Cube would be nothing. Gikwangs dancing is sooooooo good man. He is the main dancer of Highlight as well as the visual and face of the group. He is the poster boy of highlight but each individual member is just as popular. This group is soooo special to me. Their music transcends their generation which is why groups like pentagon, bts, bap etc... look up to B2st because of them paving the way for the idols or groups who where deemed not good enough. These boys got me into kpop and I credit their music for inspiring me to be an artist. I cannot wait for rIVerse to react to them. I will lose my mind. Also please let me inform you that Gikwang has debuted like 4 times (As Aj, B2st, Highlight and as himself lastly)... I also want to point out that Taemin is more Michael Jackson but I see Gikwang as Chris Brown (Gikwang has always been amazed by western culture so majority of his wardrobe/style is reminiscent of that/even his sound). The rivalry of Shinee and B2st my Gosh.... here we go... Also for the past few years he is ranked as the hottest asian in all of asia (aka face of asia).
