Mutilated Money? This Place Will Give You a Fresh Stack

Let’s set the scene: you’ve just discovered your pup chewed away at your entire life savings. Or, last month’s rent was suddenly burned to a crisp after being left in the oven. Bizarre mistakes happen, but what can you do? Submit a claim over to the U.S. Department of Treasury where Eric Walsh, assistant manager of the Mutilated Currency Division, will examine and reimburse you for your damaged stacks. Cheers!

Cool do u really think you are the only one getting this recommended? Of course other people also get this recommended that’s why this video has so many views. Saying “no one searched for this video and we still found it” is like saying “fun fact : you probably ate today” there are a lot of people who will relate to this but also some that don’t. The ones who don’t just keep scrolling while the others like this comment that you probably copy pasted. This way your Fortnite channel grows without you even trying because you are verified. And the people liking this comment annoy me even more because they actually think this was funny or they liked it because you are verified. Tip : If you really want to grow an channel with an community that isn’t made of inactive subs and 9 year olds then try to gain your subs legitimate. Have a great day.

So I did a little research, and it takes 6-36 months to get your money reimbursed. Now don't get me wrong, it's a good thing they do it. But can you imagine going through a flood, having nothing to your name. So you send in your mutilated currency and move on with your life. Then three years later when you're back to where you were you just receive a letter and they're like "Here's that $500 you could've used during that hurricane when you had nothing"

This is a basic service that's provided by central banks all over the world, not just in the US. They're just essentially replacing the already existing bills with a new one, the net amount of money in circulation stays the same.

a pro tip If you tore your dollar bill ,and one half is missing, as long as the serial number is there and the denomination shows, and some identification witness marks are there a bank can accept it, and you can get a new one!
