Girl I just tried your recipe and I got so many compliments.I thought I could fry fish before ,you cant tell me nothing now, it was so good and you cant even taste the mustard thanks 💕👍

My wife's aunt in Baton Rouge made her fried catfish like you do but she shook it in a grocery bag like your momma did. Thank You for taking me down the fried catfish memory lane for a while.

That looks yummy, I like to add a little flour to the cornmeal so the fish is not so hard & crunchy.Comes out crispy. Fish sandwiches are the BEST!

From Big Easy. Catfish is the bomb when seasoned and rolled in mustard first and rolled or shake in brown bag with corn meal. When float to top of deep fried time to take it out. Potatoe salad bake mac and sweet peas with butter sugar oinions and bacon. HOLLER Y'ALL

I tried this. I could not believe how good it was! THANK YOU Mama G! I would have never tried mustard for frying fish, and I've been frying fish and watching my daddy fry fish for a long time! It was super good not to have to check the fridge to make sure I had eggs, too! ( I've always got mustard on hand and plenty of it). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I'm going to try it on flounder or LM bass next. :)

You have such a beautifully calming, teachable voice. That fish and cast iron pan is to die for!
