Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Finishing up the Clutch job in the 1967 Mustang. This video will include installing the flywheel, SPEC clutch, ARP pressure plate bolts and then bolting the transmission back up.This will end the winter upgrades that I had planned and we will move to the next project!

Nice vid. Really wanted to see Clutch Release Arm being clipped onto clutch Release Arm Bracket/fulcrum/pivot. But magic happened instead.

Great video and very helpful. I am just doing a clutch on a 1967 Shelby gt350, the one that was in there was totally destroyed. Knowing the value of the vehicle it's good to see somebody doing the job before I go and do something silly.

I like how I blink and thing are put together. Like pressure plate and clutch fork.

Only issue I see is that you should put thread sealant on the 6 flywheel bolts because they go all the way through into the crankcase and oil could leak out. I have to pull my 302 engine out of my 67 mustang convertible, get it rebuilt and back in. I’m replacing the Z bar clutch system with a cable also. Nice video!

I know it's been a while, but how is the clutch holding up? If you get a chance, can you check on something for me as an owner of a 68? My resto project was missing all of the Z-bar components from firewall down to the clutch fork. There's a bracket attached to the firewall that holds the topside spring attached to the clutch pedal pushrod. Can you see if it that bracket is attached to the firewall with bolts? Nuts on firewall side? I have a part on the way with no hardware but the manuals I have aren't too clear on this. By the way, I really appreciate the effort and video and the surroundings. I love seeing a lawn mower next to the vehicle and all the other stuff. I have a one car garage, my compact shop, and it's great to see guys going at it without some huge setup with lifts, etc. If I guess correctly, I'm one state over - Virginia. Actually, spent some time in Blacksburg if you know what I mean...

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. I took a look and it appears the parking brake assembly has two pressed in studs on it that go through the firewall. Then the bring bracket you are talking about uses those studs and two nuts that are screwed on from the engine bay side. So the parking brake bracket and that spring bracket sandwich the firewall.

@@sinclairgarage4693 Ah, that makes perfect sense. My parking brake is in a box somewhere, so I had not looked into it yet. I appreciate you checking for me.
