Mate it's so much fun to see how much you improved. You're doing so well. Your decision making is so much better than 2 seasons ago. And the 4 player games you also improved so much. Winning the 7 first placement games is impressive as hell. Enjoy the game. Don't stress to much. Sometimes when You're talking it sounds like zmyou have so much anxiety. I hope im misreading that and you are still having fun.

In the first game, there are a few times when red only has 1 card (wood) in hand, and you have 5 knights. What do you think about blocking the 6 wood and stealing their 1 wood so that when 6 rolls, you can knight again for a brick? I feel like it would greatly limit their expansion potential by keeping them from getting 2 roads every 6, and gives you a near-guaranteed road. Particularly with 2 monos to play with, you can mono whichever you're not blocking, then move the knight to that spot. Edit: what a wild game!

I think you should obviously keep playing whether you’re winning or not cause do you play for fun or do you play for first? 🤣

That first game was the craziest game. Solid wins. The games are exciting content if you’re trying to catch back up or if you’re trying to build a bigger lead, so you do you.

Your second game was super interesting. I wonder what happens if he takes 8-4-10 8-5-10. You were definitely right about the single wheat tile being a weakness. Awesome dominant win.

This seems like the obvious play. You're still guaranteed the 3 11 10, but also get road mats. I love phantom, but we all know he'd give his 1st born up for a bit of ore.

If you do that your hand ends up flooded with wheat very quickly and you'll need to 4:1, this setup guarantees an early city with full robber control. I like full OWS if your opponent is denied strong ore so you get robber control and they never win it back

Keep playing more games and winning to keep the pressure on them. Force them to match you. You’re playing really well right now so take it to them!

I think it is better to just stop when at rank 1. Force them to play a game. If you play 2 and lose then they never have to play to retake lead.

2nd game, you only cap his road at 14. He wastes one road on plow, but can still curl around the middle of his setup

In game 1 you were 1 card away from being able to pop and buy the 14th knight, which was the only dev card left. Would’ve loved to have seen that haha, I’ve never seen anyone play all 14 knights.

Just started game 2. Why not 11 4 9 and build to middle of ore? Takes a spot away from them, gives you road materials and you still got the ore spot plus a double on 11

You can create a second account and play always with the lower ranked one as long as you have rank 1.

I hope red in the second game is not a top player.
