What did you guys think of the Naritasan Omotesando area? ⛩

Many thanks 🙇♂️, it's now added to my wishlist for my journey in March or April this year. ✌️😊 Do you know a site that has a calender for sakura festivals? Edit: I'm specifically travelling to Tohoku region, Iwate and Aomori prefectures... 🤗

I think it's a cool enough stop that I've modified my itinerary to linger here for a half day before flying out - thank you for the tips!!
It was actually my first time visiting Naritasan Omotesando and I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Definitely add it to your list, especially perfect for anyone with a short trip to Japan leaving/arriving from Narita Airport ✈

When you said you weren't good, you weren't kidding 😂
Can we just take a second and appreciate Emma and her glowing enthusiasm throughout every video over the years. Good vid ladies thank you for making me consistently hungry and letting me live vicariously through your obscure travels.
Sarah dropping serious trivia, then trying to eat the decoration, the perfect symbiosis of smartness and crazy
I have rarely seen any creators exploring Naritasan or even Chiba. It is really a nice experience. Also Emma and Sarah are amazing presenters and I love their energy❤
Naritasan is actually the place in Japan I know best, due to our 2 years living in the Chiba prefecture in the early 90’s. It was my go to park to relax in, and I loved the old style shops and sloping street down to the temple grounds. I would always take visiting family there. Then in 2016 when my daughter and I stopped for a 3 night stopover, we just based ourselves by Narita station to catch up with friends, and for me to show my daughter around Narita and parts of Chiba (we had already visited Japan for 2 weeks 2 years earlier but not gone here so this was a relaxing and easy time for us). We also had our daily coffee stop in the same sweet cafe. This is actually my first time seeing anyone vlog Narita since becoming active here on YT 4 years ago. It really does seem to be a hidden gem.
Who knew there's much more in Narita than just the airport??? I'm SO AMAZED!!
I'm just gonna say it.. we need more Emma videos. Love her positive content. Sad to see her only on the TC channel at the moment.and not here own
When I was in Japan in 2007 I accidentally booked my flight back a day later then my stay with my host family. I asked them if I could stay for another night but they kicked me out. So I went to Narita Airport to see if there is a airport hotel available. Unfortunately not, but the desk lady knew somebody who had a hotel in Narita. That's how I stumbled upon Narita. I was just walking a round to kill time until dinner when I came across Narita Shinsho-Ji. I had no idea it was there and it was such a magical day for me and the perfect final day in Japan. Can't wait to revisit Narita.
I went to Narita for my last 2 days during my first trip (just as Japan lifted their restriction on having travel agents) 'cause at that time I wouldn't know when my next trip to Japan would be. I wanted to experience a ryokan, but ryokan prices are insane in Tokyo, so I booked 2 nights at Narita instead. It was great; from the nature of Naritasan Park to the Omotesando area (bought some omiyage snacks and engraved chopsticks since they are lightweight and pretty cheap @ 700 yen each) to the Aeon Mall area, there were quite a number of things to do. Highly recommended to stay in Narita for at least a day if you can.
On my second trip to Japan, due to a mix up I stayed overnight in Narita and spent the most wonderful day in Narita Omotesando area. The many traditional style shops are a snap shot of old Japan. Even if you had only a 24 hour stop over in Japan this would be the place to go to get a feel for the old Japan; and most people don't know about. When I was there, people had brought their bags, and back paksto the Shrine, to be blessed by the priest for success and prosperity, Very picturesque. Thanks for a great reminder. Cheers Muffy from Oz (Australia)
It's the TC Power Team! Like seriously, you guys always make me more energetic when you are together.
My wife and I are currently visiting Japan. Thanks to this video, we booked our first two nights in Narita. Neither of us had ever been to Narita City before beyond the airport, and my wife is from Japan! Narita is a great place to get over some jet lag before delving into the rest of Japan. Naritasan Omotesando and Naritasan Shinsho-ji (Buddhist temple) is a slow-paced alternative to Tokyo's Asakusa, and Naritasan Park is a wonderful respite. We stayed at a much cheaper hotel, and while the room was quite small it was decent. We will be spending our last night in Narita again. It will give us a chance for last-minute gifts and one final meal of delicious unagi. Thanks for the great idea!
I love the red ribbon in Sarah's hair, it reminds me of Kiki from Kiki's delivery service.🎀
I learned about Naritasan a bunch of years ago and filed it away for when we fly into Narita next time… and of course we always landed in Haneda! Until this time!!! We booked the same hotel you stayed in two weeks ago and now I am even more excited for our last night in Japan! I bookmarked all the food stalls… can’t wait. Thank you!
Its good to see you being surprised by things that are almost on your doorstep. It just goes to show there is way more to discover than you can ever imagine. great video
Thank you ladies for the heads up on Naritasan. Will be flying into Narita in March for another visit. (IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!). Hotels in Japan seem very strict on 3pm check in. It Looks like a great place to spend a couple of hours here before heading into the city.
Discovering Narita has made leaving Japan so less hasslesome. Since many flights to Europe leave in the morning, you would have to wake up really early to get to the airport from Tokyo. But the last time we went, we spent the last night in Narita, which meant we could make our way from Tokyo at our leisure, and then explore Narita. And in the morning, the hotel shuttle took maybe 15 minutes. It’s a no-brainer, really.
It's always a good day when I see a video from Tokyo Creative ❤️. I can't believe that such a beautiful place exists next to an airport. I can't even choose my favourite moment because there were so many of them 😍. Thank you for another excellent video 🫶
Wow, this place really is a hidden treasure.
Awesome video! Thanks for showing us around the Narita area. So cool.
This was so fun, informative, and well paced! Sounds like a great place to visit, and a surprisingly convenient location. Thanks, Emma and Sarah!
I have to say, I took Narita Airport for granted. I just used it as a cheaper way to travel (considering that you are buying the 7 day train ticket). Maybe next time I will explore it, It gave me the vibes from Kyoto and Tokyo combined. Plus it seems less crowded/cheaper than the other two destinations.
oo I would love to take a stroll in Naritasan park!, I could literally stay there forever and admire the beauty of the trees and the waterfall, it's wild that this place is next to the airport!
日本の地方にも沢山美味しい物があるので色々紹介してもらって嬉しいです。
This is a great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the wonderful video. Will definitely pay a visit this coming July (Summer) before flying off from Narita. Most of my days in Japan will be in the Northern Alps Region of Toyama / Tateyama / Takayama for hiking and visiting places not forgetting Kurobe Gorge. From there will travel down to Hiroshima then back to TYO / NRT. Again, thanks for the invaluable tips and guidance. Without both of you, I didn't know this place exist nearby the airport.
did not know there was such a nice area right beside narita airport. will definitely visit
Thank you for taking us with you on this date. I liked the part where Emma showed off her archery. 😘 I didn't go here either when I visited, but it looks fun. We did stop briefly in Chiba. I appreciate you Sarah for not being just a sugar addict. (I don't hate sugar, but my threshold for it is lower.)
Really nice looking decorated matcha! Emma seems to be natural archer!
That's the street that has a bunch of concrete animal sculptures along, right? We walked around there in our last trip back in 2018! xD Because we were staying close to Narita station... Even though most stores were closed when we went walking there, it was plenty fun. Nice to see it again!
Next trip I take to Japan, will definitely spend the first few days in Narita and its surrounding area; looks so nice! Thanks for the video!
I always stay in the Richmond Hotel in town before flying out. It's such a lovely little town.
It's MY favorite Ambassador of Japan
Watching it for the plot.

I am amazed! Narita is gorgeous
This genuinely seems like such a cool spot to check out!! Thanks for the video and recommendation!!!
Yummy Japanese street food. Absolutely Outstanding
8:18 The way Sarah just terminated the bit 😂
I had some time waiting for people coming into Narita airport and spent some time in Narita. I got to watch them cutting up the eel in a shop. There was also an ice carving matsuri at the shrine. It's a nice place to hang out waiting for a plane.
Wow, that's an amazing find! Will definitely visit on my next trip to Tokyo!
I love Japanese towns and small cities ... like Uji ... but I just love Narita, it's so underrated.
Great video! Thanks
my fave thing about the video is your gals.
In addition to Oobanyaki and Imagawa-yaki, some regions call it Fu-man (Fu-Fumanjyu - husband and wife buns). They are exactly the same thing.
Interesting recommendation! 👍😋
Great vid....thanks
Greetings from San Bruno, CA - Narita is our sister city!
Yas Emma good job at the archery!
I love Narita area and Narita airport too❤
Please add in the Japanese names on the screen when you say them. I’m deaf and auto captions obviously don’t know the Japanese and the words they add instead are so far from what you’re saying, I have no idea what the foods are to ever find.
Emma is a natural at archery
If only I knew, could've visit during my three hour layover.
Narita is beautiful!
Hoping to do this tomorrow. It looks like Narita Express trains during rush hour stop at Narita Station.🤞
Great vid! Really entertaining and super informative

10 mins if you're not stuck in traffic. I was in Narita a month ago and it took 1 hour to get from ANA Crowne Plaza hotel to AEON Mall (heading the same direction as Naritasan Omotesando)
my happy place.
Unagi is great 👍🏽
Nice👍
I should check my schedule and see if I can visit Naritasan Omotesando before heading to the airport next month.
Happy new year from Essex England
Yenny 😆 Happy New Year!
Thank you, what a wonderful place! It would have been good to find out what the rail links to the airport are like (frequency, price etc).
Ah,Unagi. A fish that is so very under appreciated in most of the world. It is a delicacy beyond delicacies! Also, and please forgive me for saying this, but my crush on Sarah continues! The red ribbon in her hair,it made me somehow float in the air!! I hope you don’t mind me saying such a thing. Ah,now I’m hungry, and I have no Unahi to eat! I have some salmon, red miso paste, egg, rice and seaweed,I’ll make a simple Japanese breakfast
I always fly from/to Haneda so I'm at my families place in Shinagawa in 20mins, rather than 90 mins. But there are some pretty cool places you showed. Hankyu Dojo looks like great fun.
Loved the video especially the food review from Emma😄😍 I was wondering how the convenience stores in japan handle groceries that expire soon? In my country any grocery that is very close to the best buy date will be sold at least half the price.. how do japanese stores handle this?🤔
Is Emma secretly an assassin archer?
うなりくん、いいね~😊👍 イッツソーキュート!!
Greetings from Guadalajara México!! Come over to México!!
Emma might be an undercover assassin
I'm going here in two weeks🎉

21:49 Emma! Wow
Wow. I am older than Narita.
14:50 Ppl: yeah it's so nice to have a raised tatami with the beds on it, great idea! Me when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and tripping over both ways: yeah, not so much 🥲
Perhaps Emma should consider becoming an Olympic archer after this XD
I'm kinda sad I never explored this area! I flew into and out of Narita but only spend a night there to catch my flight. Next time tho!!
Dream blunt rotation
2:05 We call them Mr Bean pancakes in Singapore, 'cause that brand is the main supplier of such pancakes everywhere. 😂
13:31 An Eelroplane! Oh come on it wasn't that bad!
Don't want to fight Emma, she's 8 feet täll. Yet Sarah was if she didn't like the purple chip? Always great to see the Aussie duo! This looks almost like a hidden gem tbh, but i wonder how the airport connection is as you always have to leave at like 6am for Western Europe 😡 Those snacks for those prices will make up for it tho 😮😮
Did y'all get a new camera or something? Definitely looking Krispy
God Damn it!!! You’re so beautiful EMMA!!!
also that hotel is like $200+ per person... so ofc its gonna be spacious 🥺
After watching this, I'm definitely making some imagawayaki soon. The question is do I get ripped off buying red bean paste or do I buy a cheap can of adzuki beans and make my own...might have to do that. Beans are healthy, but with a load of sugar and then baked into basically a Japanese Yorkshire pudding, that's going to be a week's worth of calories (because I'm making a batch and no, I'm not sharing them 😁). Totally worth it.
I have enjoyed visiting the Narita temple complex and I have stayed in the area. (Many years ago). But I just wanted to point out that hotel cost $300 USD in February and those dinners must have cost a couple hundred each. Japan is a great place to visit but one hardly has to blow a thousand dollars to enjoy one's last day and in the country.
exept from driving trough because of the airport I've never been in Narita but I heard a lot of good things about it .... maybe I will need to visit this town some time in the future. Sometimes it really sucks though that I am bad with food .... I will be in trouble when I move to Japan in a few month (staying with a student Visa). Most of the time I only eat shio musubi and edamame all the time but this will be hard doing it for more than just a few weeks ^^V
Sarah - the archery form needs some work. I was worried for everyone’s safety in a 50m radius Emma - well done
Tokidoki Everdeen over there
When was this filmed? Looks like it was filmed last summer...
成田空港から電車約10分弱駅から徒歩約15分、車なら約20分。日本にいらしたらぜひお立ち寄りください。
From the wider angle, the boxes holding the wagyu looked coffin-shaped and I was wondering why.
I'll be there soon God willing. Man I need to find a cheap Internet cafe near Narita Airport. Most are too much around $40-50 for a full day.
Been going trough Narita on a horse with no name...
4:06 a latte lattes
There seems to be a mix of Naritasan and Narita in the names of the locations, does that mean it's like Narita-san, where the san is added or removed depending on how close they are? 😃
@totrolll3494
5 ай бұрын
-san is an honourific added to the ends of names to be polite! Its also added to mountains like mount fuji sometimes eg. as 'fuji-san' hope this helps :)

@totrolll3494 Hi, "san" in this context refers to "mountain", not "-san" as in honorifics
We're staying here one night and will have a whole day here. Does anyone know if the souvenir prices here more expensive then Tokyo (or comparable)? Thanks
