I would love to see him in a stage play again, too.
Eric is probably the hardest working actor in the world and the most unrecognized when it comes to his talent. He has fame but not the level he deserves. I met him and his wife recently and they are such genuine wonderful people!
To date, Roberts has made appearances in over 700 different productions, making him the third-most prolific screen actor of all time.

his "testiness" is just him communicating clearly and patiently and calmly.
When Roberts and Rourke were together in Pope of Greenwich Village, it was like Brando and Dean in the same movie.
Whether a villain or the protagonist in the movie, Eric still maintain his lovable character. Love yah Eric.
I always liked him. Great Actor.
He did a movie where he played a doctor who became obsessed with one of his patients. It was a great movie, and he did a fantastic job with the creep factor in it!

The film that your referring to. Is called Stalked by my doctor.. there are 5 films in the series hes the lead role in all 5 films 1) stalked by my doctor 2) stalked by my doctor 2 3) stalked by my doctor 3 patients revenge 4) stalked by my doctor 4 a sleepwalkers nightmare 5) Just what the doctor ordered (this film was recently made in 2020)

I just Love Eric Roberts ,. my favourite actor Love his movies they are the best.
What was she going on about, as i didn't think he got testy at all. He came across fine to me. Nice guy, charismatic and a damn good actor
I was a stand in for the lead actress in a movie filmed in Jacksonville, FL called "Saved by the Light, The Danion Brinkley Story" of which Mr. Eric Roberts was the male lead. I remember being in between sets during the filming of the movie and Eric was always being silly on the set. I was at the craft services table grabbing a bite to eat and someone kept throwing bit-o-honey candies at me. I kept turning around to see who it was and finally after getting annoyed I yelled, "Hey who keeps throwing candy at me, you better fess up if you know whats good for you!" All of the sudden Eric comes popping out from behind a bush laughing his head off because he could tell I was getting pissed. I told him for the remainder of the filming, his new nickname was "Noxious" short for "Abnoxious". Funny guy but very intense as well. He is a real gentleman.

I see Eric Roberts as sincere, honest & cordial. I didn't see him testy at all.
One of my top 3 favorite actors for years - Eric Roberts - him and his wife are good people; they give to good causes like to save the dolphins!

I saw Eric in a TV series (Bones spinoff) called 'The Finder'. He took a so-so part and made it great. That is how you describe a good actor. Never knew he was Brother to Julia Roberts (who honestly I do not care for as an actress. ) Wish I would see more of him in movies. Since he has matured he is a much better actor.

Being with an intense guy is hard on women, even the the self-proclaimed strong ones. They become shell-shocked because they are constantly on the lookout for another confrontation.
When my mom was going on a plane to L.A so she could see her sister, she got to meet Eric Roberts. He was in a hurry, but I can’t believe it, I wanted to be there when she told me that because I love the movie stalked by my doctor 1 and 2 he was in sooo much! 😁😁
