Interesting film. Great acting. Hal Holbrook was fantastic. So was Maggie Grace. Everyone one of the cast. Maggie Grace is a beautiful woman.

Well written. Worth watching.

Don't watch this if you're depressed... it's very depressing. It's not an escape movie.

I suffer depression but I don't mind movies like this. Now this movie isn't by far the best movie I've ever seen; it's an ok movie. I love that older man actor. I got to look up his name; I forgot.

They are all good, but you must admit.... she stole the show w that flaxen hair, those dark eyes and that beaming smile...... Plus the true to life way she was such a hot mess, crushing hearts and starting wars.

Yes, definitely a gem of a movie. A stellar precious cast and awesome not the typical rom sub plot. Maggie Grace and Hal Holbrook really shine in this and Maggie is so beautiful.

I just watched an amazing movie before this and based on a true story. There was a very profound message in it. It was about the result of extreme trauma how it affected the close group of people and what was being hid. Of letting go and getting over it all against the grain. I’m thinking what is this about? It’s got a great title. Actually this has similarities. Letting go. I love the old guys thoughts, his speech at the end.

Sweet movie. If you're willing to see past your pain, you'll realize everyone makes selfish choices at some point. But it's the ones who learn from their mistakes and make better choices, they are worthy of a second chance. Forgiveness is to free ourselves from the pain so we can move on. Love Always wins 💜🕊

in my older life my mom kept apologizing for being a bad mom to me! when i was working on myself , delving deeper into me, i asked her what she meant, and, it scared her or bothered her so much to look at why she kept saying that , that she hung up and never talked to me again, so, all moms aren't equal, and love and kindness is the best reaction, if we can manage it, the last thing i heard my mom say was: " we don't talk about that stuff!" luckily I've gotten further and kind of know what she was ashamed of , but family isn't always best, I know that!

I've always loved Hal Holbrook. What a great actor he is! I also love Cary Elwes and Christine Lahti! To me this isn't a great movie but the stars make the movie.

This woman is not so bright, these are topics you discuss at home, not out for a public meal. Specially when you haven’t seen or heard from your daughter in 18 months or so ••• It seems this girl had issues long long time ••• that probably started at home. Also mom has drinking issues or problems. Grandfather has his issues it seems. So this Dtysfunctioning runs in the family it seems. 😮

I don't like a movie that's got shagging in it at the first 5 minutes mark so I'll give this one a miss !
