Did gold medals prevent Loma from losing his first fight? Did pacquiao, and floyd win gold medals? That is that I meant, in prize fight, there is no head gear or points system. Gold medals does not make you great in professional boxing. Sure it helps build a resume, but do we really talk about gold medals for p4p? Gold medals in boxing is different than gold medals in swimming like Phelps in terms of being recognized. Plus my main point is that tim contradicted himself by saying amateur fights do not matter, then bringing up the 5 gold medals which are for amateurs.

You act like they're in different worlds and they're just not. If unifying is all there is, Usyk's unification of Cruiser is more impressive than Crawford's of 140.

I'd put Usyk above Crawford in terms of achievement. Became undisputed champion in only 15 fights and by fighting all the other champions in their home countries. Won the boxing super series and then went to England and knocked out the former WBC champion Tony bellew. He's been the away fighter in all his big fights and is also an Olympic gold medallist.

It doesnt matter if u got gifted fast if u dont have the talent and skills u wont beat the champs u r facing its still a disadvantage coz loma aint seasoned yet as a pro but loma still pass those test.

Frank Lucas honestly. I literally only put canelo there for his dumb ass resume. Everyone loves Floyd and since he has him on the resume he gets an auto spot 🤦🏽‍♂️. Floyd is like gold in boxing so anybody with him on the resume and competent skill gets put on p4p 🙄

Lomachenko has made three good fighters give up in the ring because they knew they were THAT outclassed. His movement is something know one has ever seen. Love Crawford, but Lomachenko is #1.

Sorry but that doesn’t make you #1. What makes you #1 is your achievements and accomplishments. Terence Crawford has cleared out an entire division and become undisputed and one fight later became a three division champion. He has also been crowned the lineal champion in two divisions and will be crowned lineal champion in his third division after he beats Errol. Loma hasn’t accomplished any of that

This is great. Loved this. Lomachenko and Crawford are both amazing, but I think Inoue (Naoya) deserves to be in the conversation. For me, it's really hard to pick between those three. At Loma's age--and given his devotion to fitness (i.e., he's no Duran who's going to bloat up)--I don't see him "growing up" into the welterweight division and facing Crawford. Inoue is really young, though, and can realistically fill out that skinny frame of his, so it's realistic to see him growing up into the featherweight division and on up to the lightweight division, as well, and facing Loma. THAT would be a helluva fight. (It might not happen until Loma's in his mid to late 30s, though.)

FACTS: Promotional companies makes this discussion harder than rock. IF ONLY the top 10 fighters of every division battle it out regardless of their promotional company like a tournament then we can say who is really the best. This 2 man can say whatever they want but still at the end of the day it will be considered as an opinion

If we are looking at acomplishments at a fast pace, then what about Adrien Broner ? He was a 3 weight champion by 23 years old? Did we consider him pound for pound? I didnt, but is that not what Bradley is talking about

I say this all the time. Yes Loma was fighting for titles in his second and third fight but he was 25-26 years old already in his grown man body. Most guys turn pro at 17-20 are still kids takes time for your body to develop into your grown man body.

@@corteneylove7699 but people say that pro fighting is different from the amateurs, so there is also a transition process which Loma quickly adapted to. Look at Canelo, turned pro at 15 but in his early 20s he was well adjusted to the pro fighting. Loma was 25 or 26 when he turned pro but he as we saw in the salido fight had to adjust to fighting as a pro fighter

Watch interviews with Freddy Roach regarding a fight between Crawford and Manny AFTER Crawford beat Postol.. He said that he didn't expect Crawford to be that fast and he did not want that fight for Manny at the time. I haven't heard him talk about Manny beating Crawford since.
