The Sacramento Kings defeated the Orlando Magic, 138-135, in double overtime. Malik Monk led the Kings with a season-high 37 points and 7 3PT FG, along with 9 assists as Keegan Murray (28 points, 12 rebounds) and Domantas Sabonis (22 points, 23 rebounds, 12 assists) totaled 50 points. Paolo Banchero totaled a career-high 43 points (6 3PT), 4 rebounds, and 5 assists as Jalen Suggs added 24 points (career-high 6 3PT), 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. The Kings improve to 20-13 as the Magic move to 19-15.
The Magic made a franchise record 25 3PT FG (25-44) tonight.
This was Sabonis’ 39th triple-double of his career and his seventh of the season.
Sabonis joins Nikola Jokic as the only players to record a 20-points, 20-rebound, 10-assist game this season.
Sabonis became the sixth player this season to record back-to-back 20-point, 15-rebound games, joining Nikola Jokic, Bam Adebayo, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Vucevic, and Anthony Davis).

Bruh... what needs to be talked about the most in this game are the 3 calls that the refs blew in the final minutes, that literally changed the course of the game 3 TIMES!!!
I know it's just a regular season game but as a Kings fan you love to see it. For so long this team was actually unbearable to watch a lot of the time, and it's dope to see the culture they're creating.
Banchero needs more hype than he's getting. I love how much confidence Malik Monk is showing here.

@@ostalkowitzer I will say, as a King's fan, his ceiling is unpredictable. But he was by far the best and most ready player in that draft. Glad the magic didn't fall for the Jabari trap. Keegan, (again, Kings fan bias) is also looking great from the class. Depending on how you view Chet, the magic and King's got the #1, and #2 or #3 best players in that draft. Chet is only questionable because of his body frame, but Giannis and Sabonis were skinny at one point, so maybe Chet, once he is 25 years old, will bulk to 230 lbs or something.

What trades did they make? I mean most people thought the kings would beat the warriors in the playoffs last year but we seen how that played out.
It seems that when the Magic move the ball around they get better shots. Some open 3s were nice. And they're not getting blown out, close games.

I feel like he just didn’t get into enough action. Imo he helped clutch a win by putting pressure on the Magic’s with the double 2 pointers during OT when kings and magic both were taking turns passing each other in points.
This would be a crazy finals match up.

@@masch_123this is a funny take. Last 2 minute report has been released. Sabonis SHOULD have been called for that illegal screen on Queen. Paolo SHOULD NOT have been called for a charge. And yes it should have been Kings ball when Paolo lost it out of bounds. Point is officiating was horrible on both sides but more on the Magic. Don’t act like the Kings were all clean. See you on March. We’ll make sure it won’t go to OT then.

Lol bro what about the play before if you watch the game you'll see sabonis dropping his shoulder on the screen and hitting the magic player it's obviously an illegal screen but they didn't call it and it was a basket for the Kings. So i see it fare for both teams that way

@@mutaabbah6183 They reversed a call with like a few seconds left in OT when game was what tied? when clearly out of bounds on Banchero and initially called that way. If you are going to be that clearly wrong you need to check the video. Whichever ref reversed that was clearly on the Rigg lmao.

ANY team would struggle against a team shooting >60% from 3 most of the game and ending above 50... Casualass. Fox couldn't make anything. Both teams 20 TOs. Also refs screwed up huge, Kings won in the first OT actually. Check the film, enough said. Idc if it's an entire team of G leaguers (it wasn't)= a team shooting 50% + from 3 on a season-high attempts is going to win almost any game against anybody
