I love my 17 super duty diesel 😎!! The mods I did in the first week were. I live in the north east so I sprayed the whole underside and in side the boxed frame with Fluid Film for rust protection. Next was clear bra on front fenders, hood, hole lower of the body,and door sills. Also installed ford mudflaps front and rear. Will be ordering the airdam and tail gate damper next.

I am absolutely getting the tailgate dampner! GREAT idea, thank you!!! My Lariat already has the AWESOME leather wrapped steering wheel and let me tell you it is plush!!! GREAT video, I just subscribed.

Thanks for the install videos you have posted just got my 17 XLT. Have ordered a lot of the products you have suggested. Also just ordered a Katzkin interior upgrade. Looking forward to installing all the parts. Thanks for your videos helped a lot esp when putting in those led headlight bulbs.

XLT with premium package. I wanted to have at least the same options my '16 F150 has (and a few more). I went with Stone Grey exterior, FX4 package and the camper prep, I'll be pulling a 35' travel trailer several times a year (went with 4.3 rear end). Threw some other goodies in like the tailgate step, bed lights and remote starter too.

I like the 4x4 valance, it makes the truck look larger. I did the tailgate shock, Bed under cap lights with USB outlet in the rear. Husky rear fender liners and flaps. Big truck horn, sounds awesome. Need to have Courtney do your videos.

The Ford parts I'm installing on my 17 are the tailgate strut, a block heater and your rear seat release.

Well I put in my tailgate dampener I've got my little stubby antenna going to get some rear wheel well liners but what I need you to do is a install on sound deadening that would be the best.

F150 4wd 4 door valance is nice and deep - avg over 25 mpg

i think the bigger valence is to reduce air drag from the front axle where as on 2wd that area is not as much of a problem, plus it increases aerodynamics with a bigger valence so it does improve fuel efficiency slightly, just nothing different to a 2wd with less drag

My tailgate has some lift assist thing. I run with my tailgate down often and from one area to another and even on small bumps it flops up and down.

Usually 2WD trucks sit a little lower so that valance is smaller for that reason im guessing

I got into a ditch that was deeper than I thought and ripped out one of the screws on the valance.

The 4WD has a larger valance due to the front differential hanging lower.

So glad I don’t have to hurt my neighbors,Karen and Kens, feelings about where I bring my truck onto my property. I understand making a bunch of noise is problematic when you have close quarters, but if I park it there?

Quick question on ur tail gate . Every time u open it does it make a popping sound ? My 2018 has a popping sound every time I open it

Almost every other brand of truck rolling off the line already has the tailgate dampener as stock equipment. Ford tailgate drops like a rock on my 2016 F250 SD.

Damn that steering wheel went up in price to over $350. That’s double what it was. Crazy

I picked up my new 2018 F-250 4WD Lariat two days ago. The 4WD valence is UGLY. I was considering just removing it. I am curious why you chose to go with the more attractive 2WD valence versus a complete valence delete?

The 2WD air dam is the first thing I did to mine. That huge dam looks like absolute shit, good upgrade. I also did the tailgate piston. Another inexpensive upgrade you should look into is the Husky rear wheelwell liners. They are cheap and clean up Fords infamous unfinished look back there. I love mine, a much cleaner look

I prefer how the factory one mounts up and is hidden. It’s safer for my line of work when I have guys throwing construction trash in the back or just helping me load materials.

Delete, Tune, Lift, Wheels/Tires in that order... Mine's on a Kelderman Air Lift

Do you mind sharing the part numbers for the tailgate dampener?

Should have bought a platinum. The tailgate comes down automatically and has a leather Steering wheel.

I don't understand why you'd pay money for that just rip it off your bumper and have no valance 😂 it's not a lowered car it's a 4wd truck you want ground clearance fuck aerodynamics.

I actually would prefer not to have that silver trim they make and insert to go over it hopefully I can find the dark blackish wood Grain to match the rest because that silver started wearing off at 5000 miles at all different places in the truck on my lariat wasn't happy but that was pretty cheesy for a $60000 truck

I don’t own a dremel and an angle grinder is a little rough for that job. My local dealership price matched Tasca and I didn’t have to pay shipping. Cost me like 50. Cheaper than buying a dremel and spending the time to cut it and clean it up. Just bolt it right up.

I want your full size valance for mileage. In fact, for 2020 they made the valance taller. Ford engineers trump KZreadrs.

I drive a 17 F550 Rollback and I park it in my driveway. I get a lot of complaints. Just won't be helping any of them when they're stranded on the side of the road.
