A rollbar will not only stiffin the chassis, but also provides safety. 1.6 diff does have a weak ring and pinion so that may snap. Also depending on how much horse puppies you push, your ignition system "may" begin to lack the capabilities to keep up. keep up the awesome work

You don't need angle to drift in a miata. with the low power you need high speed drifting and sitting at angle will just slow you down and make it hard to link tracks.

Ae86 Hachi yes for this build it makes sense but in the video he said the first two things for a drift car is coilovers and angle kit which just isn’t true. He then proceeds to keep a viscous lsd which from experience I can tell you they’re basically open diffs in miatas.

technical intervention: Brake dust shields are also there in order to keep the brake heat away from the knuckles and rubber boots etc. -> So when doing track days you want to protect these. Not so relevant for everyday driving as the brakes don't get that hot. (Also not for drifting)

Maybe I'm missing something about miatas....but if it has a cotter pin and a lock nut attachment usually you do not drive it home with an impact on the axle.... you should snuggled up with a wrench because doing what you just did basically crushes the bearings and creates there to be a massive amount of drag which creates excessive heat and bearing failure ..... Hopefully sammit you see this and hopefully you haven't taken it out for a test right beforehand because you may need to replace your wheel bearings beforehand and less there is again something I'm missing that's different about Miata front wheel bearings
