0:30 'a pillow, not the best impression to make in front of a client' haha. There's a picture on google images of Roger Deakins probably one of the best Cinematographers in the world and certainly the best in the UK in my opinion. In this photograph Roger is using an old sofa cushion to lie on while shooting SkyFall in a London Tube Station. Just saying.

Lol I think he's one of the rare exceptions who can get away with doing that 😉

I'm assuming it's a big beanbag with a strap? How much does it weigh? I use a regular bag, and I can also keep stuff in it, but always open to new ideas.

Beanbags don't last long. This is built to last, super lightweight, contoured, and the different sizes are tailored to specific cameras sizes. In other words, these are custom made for cameras and cameras + rigs

Is this the new mini one? I am debating on which size to pick up for my FX3 rig and like how compact this one looks compared to others.

Yes, it is the Mini Rat. If it's perfect for the size of bmpcc4k, I'd suggest this one for the FX3 too. It's called the Mini but I wouldn't call its size mini 👊

I think these types of bags are helpful, but personally I feel like if a client doesn't think highly of you for bringing a general shoulder bag/duffle bag, I don't think seeing something that looks really similar with a big rat logo is going to be much different in their eyes 🤷🏻‍♂ It's not like the difference between an easy rig and diy easy rig, the shoulder bag and the rat pack aren't so different. Just feel like a pack like this is ridiculously overpriced and videographers seem to get taken advantage of with certain pieces of gear that have no business costing what they do for what they really are
