Today we are going to cook a typical dish of the Mediterranean cuisine.
Healthy, delicious, light, refreshing and economical, depending on the amount you make it can serve as a tapa or starter or as a main dish.
Even in my childhood, my mother delighted the family with this exceptional dish. I liked it so much that I kept the recipe in my memory and I tend to replicate it every time I want to eat mussels. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Here are a few tips to make this recipe perfect:
It is a good idea to cut the tomatoes and onion into small cubes, but do not grate them. This way you will get a much better texture in the sauce.
The garlic can be finely chopped.
Try to use a quality white wine. The difference between using a good wine and using the cheapest wine or the one called "cooking wine" is noticeable in the final taste of the dish.
If you do not like spicy, you can omit the chili pepper. If you like it, I usually use the ones I show you in the video, that is to say, the small ones, but you can perfectly use any type of hot chili pepper and put the quantity you want.
