Muslims React To Sex In The City, Lone Star 911, and Why Are You Like This | MUSLIM

Ойын-сауық

We react to our fair share of Muslim representation in film, but these clips take the cake. From a Muslim taking a shot to break fast during Ramadan to hijabs flying off of Muslim women, it just leaves us with one question: what is happening in Hollywood?

The problem with the lone star bit i think especially was that, they are trying so hard to showcase every single female thing on camera as a desirable object. If they write a Muslim women that covers, they make sure she takes her hijab off at one point or another to also sexualize Muslim women. In and of itself this goes completely against the meaning of Hijab and therefore such scenes are disrespectful. Muslim women don't want a place in men's minds as an object to be desired. Not everything has to be shown on camera. Representation isn't absolutely necessary unless it's done for the Dawah and done correctly. We dont need the western worlds blessing to exist righteously.

This is literally a religious and cultural thing, being half naked is neither religious nor cultural and it does not show any type of respect, at the contrary, it's a selfish act that does more harm than good. Take some restaurants in countries like France for example, they have dress codes that do not allow people to get in half naked. You can be against women covering their faces, but not allowing women to cover their hair or not show skin at the beach? What harm does it do? Who does it offend or attack? And for what reason? 12:20 "Why to go to country If you are not going to respect their culture and mindset." That was really beautiful when they said it. So if I told someone not to dress like a Dementor (from Harry Potter) and they would say "it is a religious freedom." So I can say: "You should respect the country culture and mindset and you are not doing it". I am sorry, but when WE say you should dress like a European then WE are racist and Islamophobic. When YOU say we should be dress modestly and conservative, then YOU are not racist. It is just WE are disrespecting your culture.

  • @leilabenet7453

Dressing half naked is not a cultural or religious thing in any country. Dressing modestly doesn't bother anyone, no one cares that women cover their hair for style, but as soon as it becomes a religious thing in countries where they have free will, that's when it becomes an issue, so yes, that literally is being islamophobe Karen. Each country has its own sets of laws, a few Arab countries like Saudi Arabia rule under the sharia law, which makes it an Islamic country. Countries like the United States do not fall under any religion, so here lays the difference. Muslims don't go to other countries telling people how to dress. Y'all on the other hand steal other countries and their ressources committing genocides. Y'all try to control every other countries, chose whom to put in power in some, create one sided wars, then complain when people flee their countries to the safe side. Y'all terrified that we'll take over someday because that's what y'all have been doing for centuries

@@leilabenet7453 There is few cultures which have or had traditional dresses that would be considered half naked (I supposed you are American, the way you are talking about pillaging and genocides = Native americans vs. rest of the americans), but back to the dress code. I think native people from Hawaii and rest of Pacific islands have or had traditional clothing which I would say is more skin showing that what Samantha in the movie Sex and the city 2 was wearing. I think women from Solomon islands when they are wearing traditionall clothes they dont wear tops and are showing breasts. Maori women wear longer skirt than Samantha´s shorts (dont know if you would considere it half naked). So dressing half naked or be naked is culturual thing. At least cultural thing for todays minority. I am not gonna talk about Native americans mainland woman clothing because their clothing was different from what media are showing, because the media are sexulazing them.

No amount of temptation should deter you to at least 'try' it. Because Allah clearly said that if a Muslim, KNOWINGLY drank alcohol, they are not considered a Muslim anymore. Same with pork of course. If you KNOW, and are still willing to remain ignorant, then there is no 'this is between me and Allah'. You are in the wrong. But at the same time with Muslim reverts who have had a drinking problem, we should be supportive in the way that we should help them lessen and lessen their addiction towards it.
