My fasting story: So one day when I was like 7 years old my mom told me to half fast ( and I don’t know if anyone else’s parents made them do this but I did) so anyway I was half fasting and I made it past 30 minutes then I saw my brother sitting their drinking my favorite juice and he asked me if I wanted some so I said yes Forgetting I was fasting and drank it then my mom came around and saw me that when I realized “oh I wasn’t supposed to eat or drink anything” she just stared at me and I started bawling my eyes out. My mom tried to stop me and said it was okay but I was still crying. I thought that I would be in so much trouble. I thought it was like a crime. THE END

I half fasted all the time, and my mom said that if you forget you are fasting, and you eat, it doesn’t count

If I did that my mom couldn't get mad at me even if she wanted to because she told me when she was younger she would secretly drink water from her bathroom faucet, she thought because no one saw it didn't break her fast lol she didn't understand that Allah can still see.

That happened to me on the first day of this Ramadan except my mum was angry and I wasnt half fasting, it was an actual fast 😂 And now my dad teases with the "ayo, *insert my name* u can drink water but accidently." All the time

The one where it was “when someone tests your patience during Ramadan” made me laugh, in part because I said something rather foul on Friday evening before my fast was done and ran into the house. I started laughing and crying from surprise that it came out since I normally don’t say that kind of thing, my older siblings were shocked by it (they were the only ones that heard it).

Remembering the time it was Ramadan and my sister went out for iftaar but when she came back she had nail polish on. I scolded her saying that she couldn't pray with nail polish on and that it was Ramadan and she should be ashamed of herself and she hit me with the "its wudhu-proof nail polish". I asked if i could have some and she said it was her friends. All these years i have been looking for wudhu-proof nail polish until I realised: She was on her period.

You’ll get used to it. Stay awake in your fast for most of the day, you can take the day off. The next day will be so much easier This is normal of fasting, you have to feel hunger. You can also start studying from early morning till noon or after noon and have a nap from 3pm or something. You can do it sweetie 🤍
