honestly bro its been happening to me a lot recently

The girl with the SA story in Makkah... I feel really bad for her and I pray that Allah heals her from that experience. I experienced the same thing in Masjid An Nabawi when I was 11, and it was traumatizing, to say the least. As a person who has had the ability to visit the holy mosques countless times (Alhamdullilllah) I have some advice to help prevent such things from happening. (It is really important to note that its rare to experience it in the holy masajid. I have been lost and alone in the masjid, the hotels and their elevators many times before my traumatic experience.) 1) stay with a mahram at all times, and literally hold their hand or something, so people know that is your mahram. When you are in the women's prayer area stay close to your sisters, and do not stand in lines for water or food ( that have both genders) alone. 2) don't doubt yourself! If someone looks creepy stay away don't excuse the creeps just because you are in the sacred masjid. 3) obey Allah's rules of Hijab, and lower your gazes (both men and women). 4) report the case! Hold the criminals accountable. Tell people nearby. Find a guard. Call someone. Take a picture of the person. Tell the hotel management. Do something! Be familiar with emergency numbers as well. I want to end off by saying that these are holy sites, and whoever disrespects them, and the believing women therein, has certainly transgressed the limits and definitely will be punished for their actions in the hereafter, if not in this world. These sins are grave and are even worse when committed on holy ground, in front of the Kabah, or where our Prophet (saw) rests. We seek refuge in Allah from such grotesque creatures with rotting hearts, and we ask The Protector to protect us. When people come to masjid Al haraam or masjid an Nabawi for the first time they expect everyone to be good people, unfortunately that's not always the case. People come from all different corners of the world, and some don't even understand the basics of Islam. (Although In my experience the person was wearing a thobe and spoke Arabic. He also looked like a local, not to insult anyone from Saudi Arabia or Arab countries). Like in every place, there are good people and bad. In these sacred places there are less bad people, but they do exist. This is not to defend them in anyway, but to warn you to keep yourself safe, and don't let your guard down. Focus on Allah, and the good people around you, and insha'Allah you will have a nice experience. Last, but not least, just because people still get SA in Hijab, doesn't mean we should ditch it. Keep striving, and dress modestly to please Allah, and he will reward you and protect you. Despite my experience I have continued to observe the Hijab ( including dressing, talking etc.), and Alhamdullilllah I feel safe and dignified. The Hijab doesn't really mean that you will never experience harassment, it just means that you are less likely to get picked by the harassers (may Allah deal with them). I hope this advice benefits you. May Allah have mercy on us and guide us all to the straight path.

Hi, I think the main point she wanted to share was that it legit doesn’t matter what u wear, if someone wants to sexually assault you they will. Cause there’s ppl who say “oh that happened cause u were wearing that” the person who did that to her had no excuse. Be careful out there and make good choices much love

@@rosy7021 I think it does matter on what u wear..but sexual harrasment happens in Mecca alot and it disgust me, I think it's mostly bc it's crowded and people won't really be able to see much and everything so you know they decides to do disgusting things like that..how can ppl do that in the holiest place??but i have to say sexual harrasment,r**e happens very rarely on women who wear modest clothes and all..and she also is talking like hijab doesn't do anything,it doesn't have any purpose or some..I have to say clothes matter most times..

I gotta be completely honest, alot of Muslims these days don't take Islam seriously, they joke around about sinning and they make videos about sins that they have done. Are people forgetting that all sins will be forgiven by Allah SWT except for those you have purposely made public!? It's no joke but Muslims seem to not care about this. I think I read a hadith like this . People will say their sin like it's nothing. Anyway allah told us to not tell anyone about the sins we do except to him. Because people will always be there to judge you even after you become better and stopped committing that sin

so i have been a hijabi like for 8 years now and once in school this one guy pulled my hijab of like idk for what joy he was a muslim tho and my elder brother saw that and he got really mad and he caught the guy and then he put his head inside the water can...yea this was the last time i saw that guy

I’m not Muslim, or religious at all but I find this religion very interesting. So it’s fun to learn about it!

(Edit: There are some serious a-holes in the replies what the heck I just wanted to spread positivity smh) Being a Muslim is okay, Being a Christian is okay, Being Jewish is okay, Being an atheist is okay, Believing in whatever you want to is okay as long as it isn't negatively impacting another group or anyone else, And it's okay to read and learn about other religions 👍🏽👌🏽

Honestly, i also have the same experience as the last vid. I have an Al Quran, but there's no translation, i just read this Arabian words without understand the meaning. Coincidentally, i talk to this with one of my friend. We just talk and talk, suddenly she said she would give me her Al Quran translation. I was shocked and happy. I finnaly know the meaning. But, the next day, she text me and said she wouldn't give me her, because her mother want to give me a new one! And it's the electronic translation! I was so shocked! I was like not it's fine just give me the first option but she instead. I was so happy that I cried. Before, i do bugged my mum about this, but she's busy and i just give up and will buy it myself, but it will take time. My point is, always be patient and grateful. Trust the fate of Allah because They knew what's the best for They followers. If you want it, you have to think of the way to get it, and They will help you. Never give up, and take an action to make it happen. Have a nice day 😊

@@gv2057 Allah doesn't have any gender. They is a god. Same as angle. They don't have any gender but they prefer male form. If you read Al Quran, there's a story there about angel. Allah SWT doesn't die, eat, drink, sleep, or anything. Allah is a God. God wasn't a human. I hope that's helpful.

Especially if we are just guessing and never heard a scholar refer to Him as "they". Indeed Allah is not like His creation and therefore He has no gender, but He refers to Himself as "He/Him" or "We" (nos maiestatis) in the Quran and so should we too. However i can't agree with this statement here, the purpose of covering yourself is for modesty. and i'm sure that by exposing yourself more by wearing skin-tight clothing will simply attract more attention and increase the likelihood of something like this happening. i'm sorry but I don't see this as a justification to be allowed to dress immodestly. at least by covering yourself, you've done the best you can do to stop something like this.

Trauma can do that...imagine if she wasn't assaulted she may have decided to start wearing hijab after such a beautiful fullfiling trip to Hajj but What if this man made her believe that she will be MORE likely to be sexually assaulted? It's just so sad something like this happened an put a negative idea in her head that is festering into fear.
