1:05 just wanted to clarrify that wiping over foot wear can be done for 24 hours by a resident and 72 hours for a traveller (over 80-90 km is wear you would be considered traveller), It will be nullified if you tale it of,the end of the permission period and being in the state of major ritual impurity. Hope this helps just wanted to put this out so no one gets misguided,No hate to the sisters who made it thank you for putting that info out :)

@xIAMxTHATxGUYx That's not laziness. It's to make it easier for people. Different schools of thought differ on this matter, and to what extent someone can use this permission.

You make wudu without the socks for the first time, then you put on your socs that have to go over your ankles. After that for the next 24 hours you can make wudu with your socks on by brushing with your wet hand over them.

As per the Hanafi Madhab, if you make Wudhu over cotton socks like that your prayer is invalid. As is the prayer of all those who pray behind you. Don’t listen to TikTok women. Listen to scholars.

We do not follow mathahib, we follow the most authentic of hadeeth. All of the 4 imams have said that if their views go against the Ahadeeth then to leave their opinion.

Sister with all due respect, you can't just wipe your hands over your feet with socks on and say ylthat your wudu is done. The socks need to be Khufs, not just any socks

I feel sorry of that sister may Allah help her have patience in her test. I am going to type alot if you really want to know about istikarah follow me till the end. Inorder to explain istikarah let me tell you a story of a sister I know. She had two men who proposed to her. One is rich and the other is not exactly poor but let's say poor. So she did istikharah and days past and she ended up with the poor. After some months she discovered that the poor man was aggressive and she didn't have the best relationship with him. She told me "What was the point of istikharah to begin with if I only married the rich man I would have lived a happy life right now" and I didnt know what to say so I remained silent. Then after a year she told me I found the answer to my question. I asked her what is it? She told me "when we do istikharah we ask Allah for what is best for us but sometime we don't realise what is best for us she read me the verses saying perhaps you might hate something that is good for you and perhaps you might love something that is bad for you. She told me I realised that with days passing I found myself more of a muslim and even more and more closer to Allah everytime my husband wrongs me. She told me maybe if I were to be with the rich man I would have got everything I wanted in this life and forgot about Allah or maybe I wouldn't have been the muslim I am today. So the conclusion sister what is best for us isn't necessarily what is easier or what we like. We might hate those things that are best to us and we might like those things that are bad for us. For example it would have been easier for me to be a non Muslim and do whatever I like without restrictions but is it the best for me? No I will go to hell fire. And I want you to tell the sister what I am going to say please. PLEASE tell her this: That if Allah loves his servant he would test him with hardships so he can make this servant that he loves closer and closer to him or make his servant return to him. We will certainly make them taste some of the minor torment ˹in this life˺ before the major torment ˹of the Hereafter˺, so perhaps they will return ˹to the Right Path˺. I think of it like this my father loves me and he wants the best for me. So when I don't study he would hit me so I go to study and if I don't study he used to hit me with a pen again and again so that I will go study and secure my future. He loves me he wants the best for me same for Allah he loves you sister he wants the best for you so you would get his "pen hits" so you can return to him (SWT) so you can come closer to him and closer to jannah and he will reward you for your patience. Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was the most loved by Allah and the one who suffered the most of hardships too. Prophet Yusuf was harmed by his brothers since he was young and was put into prison for many years although he did nothing. However he had patience and even in those hardships he never lost trust in Allah and he asked Allah saying: Yusuf - Verse Joseph prayed, “My Lord! I would rather be in jail than do what they invite me to. And if You do not turn their cunning away from me, I might yield to them and fall into ignorance.” Then after he had patience during all those hardships what did Allah say after that? This is how We established Joseph in the land to settle wherever he pleased. We shower Our mercy on whoever We will, and We never discount the reward of the good-doers. Allah replied we never discount the reward of the good-doers. All of this patience Allah will never forget it. Allah will reward you for it. After Yusuf had patience in those hardships Allah gave him his blessing he became the finance minister of Egypt and Allah also raised his rankings in Jannah and also made him closer and closer to him. Yusuf (AS) said that: Yusuf - Verse They replied ˹in shock˺, “Are you really Joseph?” He said, “I am Joseph, and here is my brother ˹Benjamin˺! Allah has truly been gracious to us. *Surely whoever is mindful ˹of Allah˺ and patient, then certainly Allah never discounts the reward of the good-doers.* " Whoever is mindful of Allah and is patient in hardships. Allah will never forget what s/he did. Allah will never discount their reward. NEVER. Even Jacob(AS) never lost trust in Allah after he was tested with hardships. O my sons! Go and search ˹diligently˺ for Joseph and his brother. And do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah, for no one loses hope in Allah’s mercy except those with no faith.” Either ways Allah will test you with hardships. Have patience and you will gain his rewards. You will gain rewards that make you forget all of those hardships as if they never existed. Trust Allah and make duaa for him. Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test? We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars. We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. Give good news to those who patiently endure- Al-Baqarah - Verse 156 ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَـٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ who, when faced with a disaster, say, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.” They are the ones who will receive Allah’s blessings and mercy. And it is they who are ˹rightly˺ guided. Remember sister that Allah never gives a test more than you can handle. You can do it! Stay strong! May Allah bless you sister and may Allah bless the other sister as well.
