And regarding that video, it is absolutely un-Islamic to abandon or disown your child if they come out as gay or for any other reason. No matter what they do, as a parent you are still responsible for taking care of them as that is the child's right.

People like you do the Shia a great disservice. If you actually spent time with those of the Shia who are learned, they will advise you against slandering any Sahaba and also give you the adilah of why not to.
