Fun fact: We were created to worship the King. That’s why you’ll often feel the urge to cry and even experience chills when listening to worship music! Because during worship, in that very moment, you are quite literally functioning and operating in the very thing for which you were created ❤

@@Abigailsxhannel2008 Amen! I also feel like the closest we are to God while on Earth right now, are when we are either praying or fully encompassed in worshipping Him through song. It's also when I feel the happiest personally. Like when I'm having a bad day I just put on some worship music, shut everything else out and focus on Jesus, and then I'm fine.

christians often lift their hands during praise as a sign of surrender to God, it could also be a way to show our dependence on Him in this life, like how a child needs their father/mother. thank you for this reaction! A story from the book of 1 Kings, where a prophet by the name of Elijah when he beheld 400 false prophets of the false object of worship called Baal said to them if you think you're God to be the answer then assemble yourselves and call me fire down from heaven; Elijah said to them likewise shall I do the same as the story goes the 400 false prophets of the false being made themselves a bunch of ruckus calling out to the lie they believed. Elijah surely used scripture from the word of God the Old Testament or Old Covenant or Agreement and fire did fall from heaven. The more you get right about God the more he shows up. God is a spirit those that worship him must do so in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 Don't just have faith, have faith in God, and his word. There is surely a type of extreme unpleasantness already in the Earth, have you seen it, are you delivered from it? Job 38:17 "Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?" Job 38:33 "33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?" As a child, I would have dreams in be in many nightmares where underground tentacle monsters could sense my slightest movement and impel me, wars, dreams of persecution, the grim Reaper, things would get wild. I remember calling on the Old Testament name of God Jehovah, and I remember things did not end well for me when I was being assaulted by a witch. However, ever since I was a child the name of Jesus has never failed me, when I began to call on his name Even recently, a spider demon with a human face around the size a 42" TV was crawling on my wall when I awoke from my sleep. I spoke the name of Jesus quite a few times and I attained Mercy unto myself, for that because Jesus has the authority for this reason. John 3:35 " He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." 1 John 2:23 "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." I believe that God cares for his creation and doesn't want to lose them, because I believed in Jesus and had the humility to honor his name many times throughout my life. I attained mercy through the New Covenant, agreement, or Testament. Only parts of the old still apply. The old prepared place for the New. I believe Love is many things, and is doing many things read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (KJV) and study the language of the time (Middle English), saying an agreement to do some things all the time, and some things so long as it is not provoked which is not easily accomplished. Look at the Greek interlinear and see what to it says. Love is kind while not provoked and is out to to preserve and protect you not always for your short-term satiation but your long-term health, wealth, and viability. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:14 "And the Word:λόγος(in ancient Greek) message, expression of God's ideas), was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." For if I read James 1:5 (KJV), do not leave out James 1:6,7, and 8 (KJV), and while we at it live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. If there are 18000+ religions in the world I know to whom I say go to save me trouble, the name and the ideas that I will confess as Lord to be serving of and to call my friend. Proverbs 4:19 “The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.” A concept of the word is the idea that is behind it or what should pop into your head by what the author is meaning. If you do not have the idea of the word correct you have a misconception and it changes the whole story. Read the KJV, pray for wisdom, pray without ceasing: don't go a day without it. Genesis 18:14 "14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son." El Shaddai, is one of God's names: meaning, the Almighty. The deductions you can make with your eyes are not as important to me as the decisions you can make with your heart. I believe God set the stage before we got to the play. God putting bones in the ground isn't him being deceptive, he wants to know if we will be presumptuous.

@@takethisguntandshoveit God is Allah in another language, that is correct. But when a Christian describes God from the Bible and a Muslim describes Allah from the Quran, they wouldn't actually be describing the same person exactly. I know you understand what I mean. It's the same way Saul was killing Christians thinking he was fighting for God until God revealed Himself to him. Sometimes we think we are getting it right but the opposite is the case. Saul loved God but because he didn't understand the gospel, he decided to fight the Christians until God showed up and corrected him in love. That is still my prayer for us all.

Probably the best book I ever read was Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus. It’s a personal experience. I don’t think the book said this, but this is some thing that is very true we must love and seek God/Allah and the pure truth and required surrender to him more than the traditions we are taught, more than the acceptance of our family and friends, and more than the beliefs we are most comfortable with. Jeremiah 29 says if you humbly seek the truth with your whole heart you will find it. The dead sea scrolls prove that the scripture of the Christians and Jews is unchanged in over 2000 years. Muslims even say it’s their scripture too. But are Muslims brave enough to actually read it humbly seeking the truth of God with their whole heart even if it means everything that they knew and held onto might not be as God says it is to be?

Don’t ignore the signs, instead follow God and the path God has placed for you. And let the lyrics also touch your heart, not only the vibe the song gives out. Try to read and meditate on God’s word (the Bible) as well. I pray that God’s word will touch your heart and that you will be truly transformed by God’s never ending love and His amazing grace. Christians sing along because that's our time to sing His Praise. These artists lead us in worship. We lift our hands in complete surrender to our Lord and Savior. God used to send the choir director out ahead of the battle in war. It's our way to show our complete love for Him. It's a beautiful and emotional thing when that many believers of Christ lift their voices to heaven in worship.

Music is just music, if you listen to the nice vibe and see the atmosphere that is there it can leave you with a goose bump experience. That’s great. I love going to Hans Zimmer concert, and I get the same feelings. BUT. If you dare to go a little deeper, you will see that worship music is not about just the music, or nice voice, or lovely lyric. It’s about bringing your heart , your mind and your soul, before the one who created you. Worship is to meet with GOD. Meet with JESUS Christ. Don’t miss him. Don’t stay in the shallow water… dive into it… go deeper.

Oceans reminds me of the story where Jesus was on a boat and he calmed the storm and said peace be still. Letting us know God will calm our storms if we have faith. And also like when he was walking on the water and told one of his followers to walk to him. Basically saying that we can achieve anything if our faith in God is strong enough ❤ btw we lift our hands up bc the Bible says to do that.

Love me some Hillsong United songs any day & anytime. God bless Hillsong United...they've produced some of the best worship songs & gospel artists. I had the pleasure of being in one of such worship service at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX years ago & another of their concert in Kansas City, MO. Some of the best experiences of my life. Their songs got me through the stressful undergraduate years of attending nursing school & taking classes as a chem/bio major as well as my yrs in Medical School. I hope to attend some of their live concerts in the near future. Simply the best!

We are told to love God with all our heart, mind and soul and that we be reconciled unto him... If we do what God hates how yet can we say we love him with all our heart, mind and soul as we were commanded to do. Jesus and the disciples taught the law of Moses and Jesus even said your thoughts should be bridled and controlled. If someone pays your fine and the judge frees you it is not so you can continue the crimes that brought upon you the fine. If you are reconciled to the father of whom you were seperated from because of your sinful actions it hardly makes logical sense that you are reconciled to him to continue in those same sinful actions. We are meant to be dead to sin and not living in it - not following two masters but crucifying the fleshly desires and seeking the spiritual The second coming of Yeshua (The Messiah, Christ, Jesus) is coming near, Please all who say they are of Christ read these verses below and seek the truth; the truth that all transgression of the law is sin and none of the laws of Moses were done away with, the truth that Yeshua (Jesus) himself states that he does not abolish any of the laws of his father (he himself is the word, the law and so to say you abide in him yet not all the law makes ye a liar). Read the verses below that speak of God unchanging and of how we are meant to walk as Christ walks and hence following the commandments of God given to Moses including the vast expanse of Leviticus (of course it is believed Yeshua caused for such as blood sacrifices to be finished as he became the atoning sacrifice amongst other factors). I can tell you there are deep contextual understandings required and that many of the verses you have heard have been plucked out leaving the verses that add the necessary context to be sitting in the book - but alongside this there is a deep culture and context in the era the scriptures were written that if you lack the understanding of will cause you to misunderstand the true meaning of the scriptures today with Paul's writing's requiring much of that understanding although if you remember it was false accusations that he was teaching against the laws of Moses and see that it should give you an idea as to how Paul has been misinterpreted by the current churches with many going against the Bible's very verses stating clearly such were false accusations. Remember also that Yeshua (Jesus) actually spoke that even thoughts are counted as to iniquity (sin) and such makes sense if we are to love God with all our heart, mind and soul... We are implored to hold our very thoughts unto his ways and his standards also. May God guide and bless those with open and truth seeking hearts that desire to love him truly to allow them to read these words here and these scriptures and to walk in full repentance as God truly desires 🙏🏽 2 Timothy 2:19 CJB Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, stamped with these words: “The Lord knows his own,” and, “Let everyone who claims he belongs to the Lord stand apart from wrongdoing.” Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Hi Catholic Christian here! Love this reaction! We usually sing these during our charismatic fellowships outside of the Mass too. Back when I was a kid, one of our prayer leaders told me that when we sing in prayer, we can amplify our worship because we sing to glorify God AND dialogue with Him through the prayer. I have no idea how true this is, but its a beautiful thing to keep in mind and there's no harm in believing in it

Always follow this reminder the church is not the building but the people as well as Jesus as he said "I will tear down the temple and in just three days I shall rebuild it" because he is the church and in 3 days he resurrected and saved every one of us.

The opening of the arms up in the air can be a few things; surrender to God, praising and being grateful, also when people outstretch their arms it’s signifying Jesus on the cross. It’s really all a form of praise and awe.

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. We're sinners right, we rebelled against God and we're not worthy to be in heaven because we're full of sins and our ways are wicked. and these are the sins that prevent us from entering into heaven; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. We're guilty, we did all of these sins, yet the Lord is faithful he can still forgive our trespasses and give us his unfailing mercy. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from everything we’ve done wrong. 1 John 1:9 Because if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 There is still a chance for us to go back to the Lord, though we did all kinds of evil things we can be cleansed and be saved through the blood and the resurrection of Jesus Christ! It's still not too late to repent of all our sins, forsaking all of it and sincerely follow the Lord while also believing in his finish work on the cross. Salvation comes from Jesus alone! Jesus is the Way, the truth and the life.❤ Jesus loves you!

If you seek to truly love and serve God, Jesus and the holy spirit in full truth I implore you also seek teachings such as those about Sabbath's from 119 ministries, Jim Staley, Rico Cortes, bill Cloud, brad Scott and others... Another vital and important teaching would also be "Truth or Tradition" by Jim Staley. Any who believe that the words of Paul and others including Yeshua (Jesus) himself change or abolish laws.... Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 5:17-22 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.' But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire. Mark 9:43‭-47 CJB If your hand makes you sin, cut it off! Better that you should be maimed but obtain eternal life, rather than keep both hands and go to Gei-Hinnom, to unquenchable fire! And if your foot makes you sin, cut it off! Better that you should be lame but obtain eternal life, rather than keep both feet and be thrown into Gei-Hinnom! And if your eye makes you sin, pluck it out! Better that you should be one-eyed but enter the Kingdom of God, rather than keep both eyes and be thrown into Gei-Hinnom, 1 John 2:3-6 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 5:2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. Malachi 3:6 "For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? James 2:24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Matthew 5:48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Mark 7:8-9 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men-the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do." He said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition Luke 17:3 ESV Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him Ezekiel 18:30-32 ESV “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. Repent and turn from all your transgressions, lest iniquity be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn, and live.” Messianic Jews (Heb) 6:1‭-‬8 CJB Therefore, leaving behind the initial lessons about the Messiah, let us go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of turning from works that lead to death, trusting God, and instruction about washings, s’mikhah, the resurrection of the dead and eternal punishment. And, God willing, this is what we will do. For when people have once been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, become sharers in the Ruach HaKodesh, and tasted the goodness of God’s Word and the powers of the ‘olam haba - and then have fallen away - it is impossible to renew them so that they turn from their sin, as long as for themselves they keep executing the Son of God on the stake all over again and keep holding him up to public contempt. For the land that soaks up frequent rains and then brings forth a crop useful to its owners receives a blessing from God; but if it keeps producing thorns and thistles, it fails the test and is close to being cursed; in the end, it will be burned. Acts 3:19 ESV Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out Matthew 4:17 ESV From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 2 Peter 3:9 ESV The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Matthew 3:8 ESV Bear fruit in keeping with repentance Revelation 2:5 ESV Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. Ezekiel 18:21-23 ESV “But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live. Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? Colossians 3:5-6 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

I absolutely love this video concept. Growing up my family was not religious at all, but a large group of my friend's went started going to a local Baptist church that played a lot of Hillsong music which I fell in love with. I personally am not a believer but appreciate anyone who has faith in whatever they want to believe in. Even 20 years later I still listen to Hillsong and love them. Not because they are about religion/Christianity but because for me they just represent an unwavering love for something which I find really beautiful regardless of my beliefs. I also do not condone a lot of the rhetoric behind the Hillsong church but wow, they make great music.

Then some songs by crowder are run devil, prove it, lift your head weary sinner, milk and honey, and crushing snakes.
