Fishing for muskie and northern pike near Kenora in northwestern Ontario using Rapala X-Rap products, the X-Rap Peto in perch and X Rap Otus in firetiger. They are bit smaller in size (great for getting action from pike) but I found have really good hooking rate with very sharp out-of-the-box hooks, and in both cases have a very prominent realistic eye and an internal rattle which I believe adds to their effectiveness. Even the really big musky like them - unfortunately I make a couple errors on one big fish that comes in hot - such is muskie fishing.
