Across Endless Dimensions

I am an 'old' rocker and my three favourites in Dimash's rock vein are Durduraz, Kieli Meken and Golden (all from the Digital Show in 2021). You get ethnic/contemporary dancers in the second two as well and they are pretty cool. He also did a mini-movie MV for Golden which is dystopian sci-fi with Total Recall and Bladerunner vibes and that is really worth watching. Great reaction guys, always enjoy watching you, especially if it's Dimash 😂😂😂

This is Dimash's normal Concert band plus his 3 regular back up singers. The 2 Dombra players were added for this song. The percussionist Ilya and Dimash often have drum battles during Concerts to give the main drummer a short break. 🤘❤️‍🔥🤘 I love this song. The only other song where he uses true rock voice is Go Go Power Rangers (english) and When I've Got You which you have already seen.. There are other songs with a somewhat rock vibe like Olympico, Across Endless Dimensions, Lay Down, War and Peace but he uses his Pop or Opera voice mostly for those. Olympico/Arnau Concert is awesome and a very percussion heavy song. Found on Igor Krutoy's channel. Sung in italian so do cc's. Thank you for another awesome reaction. Thank you. I LOVE this song and how driving it is! The song is about a man having tea etc. and the woman serving is beyond beautiful. He laments that his betrothed is not as beautiful as this woman. Others their start to argue over her attentions and that is why there is so much intensity. Dimash is fabulous! And yes, this IS a Kazakh folk song. :)

Yes Dimash is also a record producer and he totally changed the folk song. At his concerts he is pretty much a rock star.

I would say that you don't have to replace any of the musicians in the DQ band to have the best rock group. These guys truly are the best at what they do. Dimash is a perfectionist and demands the same from his musicians, he can hear a wrong note performed mid live concert. I've personally seen him shoot a look at a musician mid concert, go "seriously bro?" and then return to finish the song. There's a few clips of Dimash working with musicians in the studio and he knows exactly what he wants and how to achieve it and will actually use his voice to replicate the instrument to show a musician if they're not getting it straight away.

Kieli Mekin from the same online concert has a similar vibe to it and the MV When I've Got You is a blues/rock/power ballad mix. Elim Menin is also a really good track.

LOL! The band behind Dimash (or rather split in the two sides of the stage) is called the DQ Band. His own band and they have to be perfect to play behind dimash. 😂 You should watch "Kieli Meken" from this same concert. An original Kazakh song he premiered at this Dimash Digital Show 2021 online concert during the quarantine. Anything from this fabulous concert is fantastic. There is a playlist called the Dimash Digital Show 2021 Playlist on Dimash's KZread channel. Go through the entire playlist. Fantastic stuff, all of it. It's not exactly in order of the performances as the opening number to the concert was Olimpico but still watch the entire concert when you all have time. All his concerts on his KZread Channel are great. You shoud also watch Golden which premiered in Kiev Ukraine at his Arnau Concert there. And his fantastic Almaty "Stranger" Tour concert in Kazakstan in three parts. His New York Arnau concert is another fabulous concert. These are all on his channel.

I love the energy of this song! This was the digital show during the pandemic, so no live audience. In the regular concerts, there are dancers/gymnasts so the activity accompanies the music/meaning of the lyrics, which is a quarrel in a teahouse involving a beautiful girl.

4:34 this beginning reminds me a lot of TransSiberian Orchestra. 😊 one of his strongest secret weapons is that he’s not afraid to combine multiple genres and even multiple instruments & languages into each song. It truly sets him apart. 👏🙌🤘

I love Durdaraz and what Dimash made of this song, which is as I think around 120 years old😄. You should have a look at his concerts which are on his channel or at fancams from Budapes or Istanbul concert. You'll be surprised about the mix of different genres

The band setup is pretty much the setup you get for every Dimash solo concert (with slight variations and sometimes some more musicians added). I highly recommend watching Dimash solo concerts, like the entire Almaty concert from 2022 that's on his channel.

Another one I'm sure you'd like is Dudarai similar title but different song (with a surprise!)

This song is about people quarreling, so the rock arrangement fits quite well. Another great performance of this song is at the Almaty concert and has it‘s own video on his channel. Watch it with subtitles, if you ever watch it, because the lyrics are kinda funny. 😅❤ Great reaction guys. 😊👍🏼
