Musicians and friends remember Oak Ridge Boy's Joe Bonsall
Hearts are heavy in the world of country music. Tuesday, Joe Bonsall, a longtime tenor of the Oak Ridge Boys for 50 years, died after quietly battling ALS.

I think they articulated pretty well what was so wonderful about Joe. I never met him but through his concerts and books, he exuded such positive energy that you couldn’t help but feel good. When I saw the ORB without him recently, it became clear to me that Joe carried the bulk of the weight of their shows for years. He was just one voice but his presence was enormous. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be going to any more of their shows. The loss is too great.
RIP Joe. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Prayers sent to each and everyone as friends family
