Tokyo ghetto has been my favorite Eve song since I discovered him 3 years ago. It's about chasing what you desire, leaving behind the normal or superficial. This idea is represented by the girl. However, the blue guy, who is a representation of anxiety or even society, is preventing you from being happy and doing what you want. Absolutely love this song

right ive known him for about 5 years now and was always iffy of listening to tokyo ghetti for some reason, but when i finally gave it a listen it became my favorite song off all time. way too good man

Sister is a story about loss, grief, regret and acceptance. At the start of Sister, Eve (From the POV of the brother) talks about his sister often having fingers pointed her way, and her being bullied and possibly harassed, while he turned a blind eye to that, in fear of the consequences of supporting her. In the chorus, the brother is seen looking down and ignoring his sister's cries for help and support. Him looking down is meant to symbolise the fact he knows what he's not happy about what he's doing either. After that you see a lot of images flashing in her silhouette, these all presumably being the memories flashing through the brother's head. Throughout the music video you can see that only the brother has a shadow, maybe symbolising hes looking at himself and judging his past actions, and his negative emotions. "The you who passed through that tunnel, did so by walking straight ahead, facing forward. The you who was looking for a way to continue, did so by facing forward and walking straight ahead." Here "the tunnel" likely being the passage from life to the afterlife. However, she was actively looking for a way to continue living in the same manner. Here the brother is seen grasping at his sister's image, but he was too late, as she fades away right as he does so. The girl was suicidal. "Thinking back on everything that went wrong, everything had clearly been my fault. But i could never say the words i'd been wanting to say; that I have always, always been thinking about you" Further solidifying that the brother sincerely regrets what happened, and blames himself for it. At the end, the sister steps onto his shadow, and fades away into the image of a gravesite. She has passed through that tunnel, and the brother's finally accepted what happened, and why. The same scene occurs as the one we saw at the very start, but without his sister. His red shadow is no longer present and the brother walks straight ahead, facing forward. Reflected in the glass behind him, we see a a past image of what could have been. They tread forward, happily, and instead of the sister trailing behind, she walks that same path along with her brother. In short, brother is dwelling on his sister's death, and finally manages to overcome his regret and begins to only think about the positive memories instead. Fun fact about Tokyo ghetto!! Its the prequel to How to eat life. And at the very beginning of How to eat life, when Tobi (the main character with the bowl cut) is looking in the trash can, it flashes and you can see the character from Tokyo ghetto’s chopped up body in it (like at the end of tokyo ghetto). Another fun fact, tokyo ghetto character and how to eat life character are brothers.

​@@taturna252 from what ive gathered, the sister was being bullied by her peers, and the brother didnt stand up for her out of fear of retaliation. In one line he says "we shouldnt walk home together anymore", this is basically a reference to his fear of being associated with the sister being bullied.

Day 4 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!

If I can recommend 2 very different vibe Eve song I recommend White snow and Yoku, both slower and emotional songs but both still bangers and beautiful songs

Last Dance is about a dancer who gets a foot injury, gets depressed, and turns to drugs. He overdoses and kills himself. That's why it's called Last Dance.

Last Dance: A few different interpretations out there, but what is not ambiguous is the amount of references to hospitals and care giving. The best way i can put it is that this is a hospital for the people who didnt get the happier ends in eves music videos. (as a side note you can see patient papers with various characters from eves other music videos) Our protagonist seems to be a dancer who is going through treatment or physical therapy. I have heard that the japanese used alternates between masculine and feminine vocabulary so some see this as a conversation between the boy (literally named Dancer) and his female friend who is often seen in opposing shots. My favorite interpretation is that Dancer has gone through his treatment and physical therapy, has had people visit him and the support of Senpai (in this case Doctor) and is ready to leave while the female asks "Won’t you dance like this for me again someday?" because she very well may not be able to dance again. You may need to flip it depending on perspective but honestly thats one of my favorite things about Eves songs. Its very open to interpretation and personal experiences playing a part in your view of the song/MVs Sister: It sad yo. A little sister walks to school with her brother. She always gets pointed at, blamed, bullied or something along those lines. Seemingly for pointless arbitrary reasons. The brother acting as brothers do tells her to walk home by herself from now on. Either because hes embarrassed or incase his friends see him and what not and so thats what she did. she walked home from school alone, lyrics point to possibly losing something and wandering around looking for this lost object and getting into an accident. The brother blames himself, falls into a depression and stops taking care of his room, dishes and himself. He isnt happy, hes not sad, hes just in a pit. He reminisces on how she would always move forward during all her hardships and realizes that he was weak to even feel embarrassed for such a minor thing, that she was strong and kept walking despite all the things hurled at her. And at the end of the video we see his sister watching over him, after coming to terms with his feelings and his regrets. Tokyo Ghetto: Lore wise this music video is the closest to How to Eat Life and Fight Song as well as the manga Kara no Kioku. according to concept art and backstory on various characters, the protagonist we see in Tokyo Ghetto is the older brother of the boy from both How to Eat Life and Fight Song. His Zingai grows stronger as his anxiety and depression grows until it bursts out of him like a flood. Its interesting that we see a lot of cameos of different characters from previous music videos! See how many you can spot!
