So happy you’re getting caught up on Alejandro. He is so very special…

I’ve seen him perform live dozens of times. He’s the real deal. Sounds even better at the live shows. How is that even possible? Such a breath of fresh air that he’s naturally gifted and doesn’t need auto tuning. When he does use it, it’s for an added artistic element. His voice is an instrument as powerful as his classical piano work and master level guitar playing. Incredible songwriter, composer and producer. My all time favorite artist.

His new song Pieces and the video of it is well worth watching and listening. My favorite artist!

Great to see you react to another Alejandro video!! Interestingly, he doesn’t see himself as a singer, and while I don’t think Idol ever fully capitalized on his vocals, his voice on his recordings and especially live is everything. I really liked his cover of this song, but my all time fave is the cover he did of Yellow while he was performing in the Hawaii portion on the competition. His performance and his reaction to the judges comments is absolutely priceless!! Anyway, thanks for another great reaction to my favorite artist, and I look forward to more! 😊

Alejandro’s version of Fall Apart is better than the original in my humble opinion. Very special guy for sure. Pieces is at another level but masterly crafted with Alejandro’s beautiful musical touch

I agree. I don't even like Post Malone but I love Alejandro's version.

I had never heard the original song by Post Malone when I saw Alejandro cover it. I prefer Alejandro’s version!

So glad to see you react to Alejandro… have followed him since AI days.. he’s so incredibly talented - genius level!! Alejandro and Ren are so much a like.. both self-taught, multi-instrumentalists… great with creating songs and amazing covering/changing other’s music too!! @StrateleStudios Have you ever heard Chase Eagleson and his sister Sierra? He/They cover songs that for me like Alejandro's covers blow the originals away. Check out Chase's covers of Shape of my heart, Wicked Games, and Mad World also the duo on Carolina in the morning. The guitar playing, the singing, and the recording is incredible. I didn't know the four cover songs Alejandro did but he made them his forever especially a Post Malone song I forget the name. Yellow?

The crazy thing about Alejandro is that he doesn't consider himself to be a very good singer. And piano is his first instrument. He's self-taught on guitar and has picked up several other instruments. And he tries to write at least 1-3 songs a day. He's said in the past that some of the songs are stupid or silly, but he seems to enjoy the habit of doing it daily to always be involved in doing something creative. His acoustic stuff is amazing and very original, but his piano chops are next level. And just wait until you hear one of his heavier tracks.

@@StrateleStudios yes, most definitely. Idol only scratched the surface of this guy’s talent. His influences (as aired in his audition) are Chopin, Bach, and Trent Reznor. He’s got quite a few hard alternative/industrial songs, and even some instrumental stuff that could be on a Chill station. Much of what he does is cinematic…if he had the right agent and support he could do film scores in certain genres. Alejandro definitely can’t be put in a box.
