I rescued two female guinea pigs who sometimes make grumpy noises despite the fact that they are on a nice soft couch with Mom (I put a cover on it first, obviously), they're getting petted and cuddled, and they're getting treats. When that happens, I know just what to do! I play Pachelbel's Canon in D Major performed by The Academy of St-Martin-In-The-Fields with Sir Neville Mariner conducting. Within about 30 seconds, they are relaxed and yawning. Other versions of the song don't have the same effect, and neither do other songs. Ella and Stella are loyal to Sir Neville. I suspect that someone has been breaking into my apartment when I'm out and spoiling my guinea pigs beyond all endurance.

I have an escape artist boy he has done it twice now first time 2 and a half days second time 4 days always the same boy and when he's had enough of it he lets me catch him and put him back with his brothers in the meantime I leave food in the garden for him.

This is the cutest thing ever and two of my favorite things combined: music and rodents (I have gerbils and hamsters at home, but also love Guinea pigs). 😊 Also, the baby you were holding was just adorable!!
