man this takes me back. This was the last Marvel movie I got a chance to see with my mother (long story short she lived up with my Grandparents to help them out before passing herself). She was a huuuuuuge fan of the Jackson 5 as a kid, and loved Groot to pieces, and was just so delighted by this little scene at the end.

Love it, takes me back to 1970s playing at the pool, lifeguards blaring music from their radios. Good times.

You know the people making a movie really give lots of shits if they blow 500k dollars or whatever for a 30 sec long visual gag that is completely pointless narrative wise but so fucking cute that your own bitter, black heart does leaps of enjoyment in your chest! GotG is probably the best blockbuster movie I've seen in the last 5 years or so. Just fantastic. This movie is how the new Star Wars movies have to be. Fun, action packed, fast paced, imaginative movies with well developed and likeable characters, a coherent if simple plot and emotional resonance. Movies made by people who care for them and treat them with love, investement, diligence, dedication and the hard work that's neccessary.

I just saw this movie and I thought this little scene was so adorable!

So adorable don't know who baby Groot came out but Groot won my heart.😱😍💋

Another sweet scene and my personal favorite is when baby Groot was trying to get the bomb set in the cave then and rocks were falling in on him he started crying just like a baby! The look on his face was priceless!
