For mid-70's singles? Lol! Having grown up in that era, and hearing these songs when they were fresh and new, I can say this: These were catchy songs, written primarily for a target audience of 11 - maybe 14 year olds. Well, not all of the songs. The one featured here is, for sure. In case anyone didn't know, this song was actually a cover, as it was previously recorded by BJ Thomas in 1968. This version is far better, to me. Also, I was somewhere between 11 and 14 back then. I still love these songs, and I loved this soundtrack!

Poodle Pants Iron Man had a lot of heart (Pardon the joke) and so did Avengers. This movie was more likeable because the heroes were so wildly different. But I do agree the plot was predictable. Still a fun movie.

This movie is awesome on so many levels. The animation, the computer generated stuff, the music . Just so many reasons to watch again.

I was there, 62 now, lots of great music. I'm getting goosebumps just writing this.

And after the 3rd act, it was all about rocket. Amazing trilogy.

I absolutely LOVE this song AND the movie. Rocket and Groot are my favorites. They are so awesome!

I really find it interesting that for the last several years movies and x-box games have resorted to using music from as far back as the 60's on up. My grandson will come to me and say I should listen to such and such a song, and then be surprised when I tell him what year it came from. Both B J Thomas and Blue Swede did this song~1968 for B J, and 1974 for Blue Swede.

I absolutely loved the soundtrack of this film it was all my favourite songs put together

so sad to see this family's story come to end.

Can we all just appreciate what a good advert this would make. It's just tiny clips with no dialogue or context so doesn't spoil the film at all. But the soundtrack alone pulls you into it. As does our inate curiousity, we'd want to learn the context. It's brilliant
