About time someone mentioned the bass player. So many videos of this session and barely any mentions of the bass player. He is phenomenal.
The drummer is Curtis Moss, who is now a college student. He has his own KZread channel and he posts drum covers regularly. he's only gotten better since this video.

The drummer beat those drums like they owed Him $$$$$$.
The singer is about 11 years old here, there is a version with her doing 'Sober' at about 15-16 and her final performance with OMF doing Black Label Society's 'Crazy Horse' right before her 19th birthday. It's pretty cool watching her voice mature. She also has her own band now with other OMF alums called Saving Escape that plays the Cincinnati area.

Crazy Horse is one of the covers by OMF that was better than the original. The cover of Cosmic Love when she was even younger was amazing too.
As I've stated before, the bassist and the drummer are BEASTS. Danny must be very happy with this version.
The little girl on vocals is Kala Rose. She’s grown up now and has her own band called Saving Escape

FurRealz.. Also, Macy Addis (all of these kids, truly) n her cover of "cry little sister" ...the description, under all the links, tell the back story of how long it took OMF to bring this cover to fruition.. & then, how, 'rona occuring during culmination of creating this (ONE!! ..of many amazing covers by OMF)..
When I listen to the auto tune, boxed lunch music that is popular music..... These kids give me faith that real music is still alive!
The drummer is Curtis Moss and he has his own KZread channel.
11 year old lead singer killing this shit!!!!
“every kid is capable of doing something this cool....” My son was neither an artist nor musician. He was in athletics from a very young age, specifically hockey. Today, he’s a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He credits his leadership and team building qualities back to learning what being a team member was in the game of hockey. As a graphite artist myself, I totally believe what the Music Teacher is saying. Every kid has a talent. It just needs to be nurtured and honed. Kids need encouragement, support, and an artistic or athletic outlet.

When the Lockdown depression sets in I just watch this video 3-4 times in a row , Music is a great medicine
I loves how he gives props to sticks kid. A true legend of this video!
That drummer is awesome. Never tire from listening to these young people.
The kid on the sticks is my hero 😂
I'm still watching o'keefe 46x2 weekly...one o' the greatest video's on youtube!!!!
This has been out for a long time, the kids nailed it, it's been on my playlist for years
I rock these kiddos all the time in my shop...love the girls voice
This cover brings me joy every time, those kids ( well now adults) just kill this song, the drummer, singer and bassist the most.
My favorite is the little guy with the claves. He played them so consistently and kind of enthusiastically. Especially for such a young percussionist. I think he's the actual drummer (on the set) on another video they did. "No More Tears"?
One of the most amazing covers I have ever seen. Kala has another rocking song she performed in a garage a few years later, absolute perfection
Everytime I see that this foundation is from my hometown it gives me goosebumps. These kids killed this!!
They are all great, but damn the drummer and bassist are seriously amazing.
drummer nailed it.

That bass player is also holding it together he is outstanding
I can imagine TOOL and Maynard himself watching this together and just saying "Yes"...........this is the way!
Kayla Rose kills it and still kills it. I would play this version all day long before the original, this is like 6 years old. I also recommend their cover of Dream Theater
I keep coming back to your reaction because it’s like a dopamine rush. What every kid wants his parents to say
The world needs more like this guy
Kala Rose has her own band called Saving escape now
"And the kid with the claves. . . " Thank you, I just always called him the kid with the sticks. Either way he KILLS it!
Drummer is great, all of them really but the bass player is on point.
The drummer doesn't get nearly enough credit for the job he does he is playing a set with a single kick that is meant to be played on double kicks and he is killing it!!

Amazing stage presence and crowd work. That she’s not a household name yet is near criminal
"This is what kids should be doing" is the best quote I've heard all day. Thank you👍
They all were working hard for this but only the Bass player never gets a break. I'm probably a good sized portion of the 76Million+ views their video has had.
Very talented kids. The original video is fantastic. I watch and listen to it a couple times a week and blast it. I think I'll start a KZread channel where i tack on my own commentary and ruin the original video by needing to hear my own voice. This video is kind of like taking a recipe for bread that already exists and having to write 25 paragraphs of what I think about making bread before I get to the recipe that everybody already knows.
All these covers by the O Keefe kids are awesome! All the kids just CRUSH every song they cover!
I feel old. The singer just turned 20... Check out her band Saving Escape! On a side note: Upon entering elementary school my parents asked me whether I wanted to learn an instrument. I answered drums and both my parents said that's not an instrument. When I finally extorted an electric guitar at 16 I never got any lessons because my "regular" grades were too low, so I still don't know how to read or write notes...
I'm a guitar player and I love to teach...your my hero bout what you said bout teaching
This little gentleman on the sticks holding the beat is just sheer dedication.

Nice !! I mean I just watched it again since a few days ago, and the feeling of my mind blowing; absolutely was better than the first. They dominate every bit of your attention span , that's putting it mildly. When you go to the head phone's, strap in for the journey these kids are gonna take you on.
I have had this video saved to my playlist for a while an it still shocks me today on how talented they all are an wish them the best for the future in their music journey through life, I also belive this cover is better than the original with no disrespect to Tool but these guys gave it maximum effort an beyond it is totally awesome to watch.
My parents made me learn and practice piano from when I was 5 until about 18. I used to hate it but it was a huge benefit for me in the end. The general music theory alone makes you a more competent person in life.
These kids have absolutely crushed everything they've put out, love watching/listening to their stuff!
That drum kit owed him money. Thanks for the education side of this review. I'm a math teacher
Every time I watch this it's jaw dropping! All of them!
I cant tell you how many tears of excitement, tears of Joy, tears of emotion have fallen out of my eyes since watching this video over the years. Such an amazing video and School
Should check out their cover of no more tears. You get to see them having fun and making a few mistakes and recover from them.
The drummer, Curtis Moss, is a young Bill Ward (Sabbath)
She has a killer voice
They blistered that tune. Very technical super tight.
This guy at 1:40: These kids sound killer. Me: Wait till you hear the drummer.

Hello folks yes I had very similar happen just before March break. I'm driving the old Hey bus driver. There Gr.1-6 out of nowhere the older girls. All on there own started singing Old Town. What a feeling an what a rush. Next day bring in my two Go Play ( now damage poor plugs in) It was more fun when they did it all on there own. Hopefully back to the singing bus. Ride Easy
When I first Hear this girl voice .it send shivers down my spine and tear drop in my eye she amazing it must be awesome to be the father or the mother to this girl or any of the other kids 2👍👍
Can we talk about this BEAST DRUMMER?
Kala Rose is very special.
it'd be awesome if you did a reaction to Crazy Horse, Kala's final performance with OMF.
You are so lucky these kids are amazing spend so much time listening to them makes my day 😃
Love this!
Yes this is great! So glad young kids are listening to Tool etc Excellent 😊
I love your reactions and commentary so much.
I love what you put out there man!
The drummer is the man!!!
The O'Keefe Foundation is absolutely amazing for these kids. Isn't it great to see kids singing and playing instruments instead of playing video games and sitting in their parents house? I love it I love to see talent and children.
I love these kids! Been watching them for years! They are awesome!
I think I've watched the original without reaction about 15 times and I still get goose bumps! These kids absolutely kill this 🤘
I love this, so great.
That singer is so adorable! I thought it was that kid from The 6th Sense. Now you can't unsee it. 😅🤘
I LOVE watching this video, and your reaction to this was great. Every kid in their place killed it! Godsmack, Unforgettable. They get a hundred kids involved...awesome video 🤘🤘🤘
2:14 absolutely agree!
Sick, I’ve got goosebumps forever!
Wish they could show this in school it might inspire kids. I think this is 8 years the singer is 16ish
That drummer...young Jon Bonham. That singer, I can't even, I don't even know, I'm just...
I liked your video and how you encourage kids to go out and do it! YES SIR!!! Great video!
I agree with you. Practice and dedication can take u to a new level
it's this original OMF version of 46 and 2 is actually what got me into Tool... These kids are amazing!

love the band info pop-ups for the kids!

You're gonna love their cover of "Pull Me Under" by Dream Theater
Love the advice!
the drummer goes beast mode
I love your captions
Love it. 👍
I’ve watched their video since it came out and I get emotional every time. My former School of Rock drummer daughter sang 46&2 in Kala Rose’s style at Karaoke night at a local restaurant/bar when she was 9. The crowd loved it. Music is life.

Check out "Sober" from O'keefe. Same vocalist. That is awesome. Also "Crazy Horse". They've done 2 versions of it. #2 is Kala's swan song with O'keefe. Since she turned 18 and therefor can't continue with O'keefe. But I'd like you to do #1. Or both. Yes. Do both and make a reaction to them. They are great. Well as you may have found out by now, there's a lot of good videos from O'keefe. Most are good. Cheers :)

Although I'm a big Tool fan and not much of a Dream Theater fan, the O'Keefe kids (same singer and keyboardist) do a pretty good rendition of Pull Me Under. This drummer is pretty good as well...and the kid on the Les Paul throws down.
You're so right this is what we all need to being together. Couldn't imagine the sound but it would Awesome!!!!

That and her final perfomance with OMF, Crazy Horse, are ridiculously good.
Please do more. Kids can jam.
I started playing drums at 11 years old. My friends and I jammed every chance we got. When we started we were crap but we didn’t care. There were no video games or social media distractions. We wanted to be rockstars lol
