Oh holy night, that was epic. I was there live when Dan uploaded it before Christmas. Holy shit that was awesome... Some were not so enthusiastic with "Let all within us praise his holy name!" After the initial shock I laughed at myself, that's exactly how it should be sung... Thank you for your great reaction! Two brilliant metal musicians have taken on "Holy Night" and transformed it from a beautiful song into an epic masterpiece. Dan sings it with a tone and attitude that I absolutely love, and the guitarist is shredding it. Dan's rendition of the song is unlike anything we've heard before, and I adore it. It's truly divine and full of power.

Thanks Philip for another great reaction to Dan. I was shocked, too, the first time I heard this. I immediately watched it again and then again. As much as I love the original, sung in sweet , almost operatic style, and Dan could have done that brilliantly, this version is just more powerful, adding weight to the meaning. I can't wait for your next reaction to Dan.

Going in a different direction, I'd suggest Dan's Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera and his Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. Also, Dan does a beautiful performance with his Time to Say Goodbye - Andrea Bocelli & Sara Brightman Cover and his "Nessun Dorma" - GIACOMO PUCCINI'S TURANDOT cover. Of course, there is really no end to the exceptional music created by Dan Vasc. Thank you.

This truly is a breathtaking performance , so magnificent and uplifting. Dan and Victor together are just insane. We all are obsessed with Dan's voice and charisma and personality as well. About the earthquake phrase “Let all within us praise his Holy Name.” The symbolism is there is good and evil in all of us. Even the evil within us will praise his name. That is how it was explained to me.

LOL this was fun, I guess my look was about the same the first time I saw it. Had some expectations because the text in the release post was pretty clear back then: “Merry fvck!ng Christmas!” You should check out Dan’s Adeste Fideles and Angels we have heard on high.. pretty cool too. I second the suggestions for Music of the night, Nessun Dorma is great and Dawn over a new world is a must for straight out great singing.😊

Thank you! This is not my favorite of his Christmas songs (that's Angels We Have Heard on High), but towards the end, when his voice and passion really kick in, I think it's great. Yes - voice, charisma, personality, power, passion - he is a magician. More Dan, please. I love his metalized versions of ordinary songs - the Witcher covers are all great, especially the brilliant Burn Butcher Burn, as are Seal's A Kiss from a Rose, or Adele's Rolling in the Deep. If you're a musical theater fan, try The Music of the Night or Gethsemane. You'll hardly believe it's the same guy.

Before Dan dropped this video he teased VascNation stating his upcoming Christmas song would “melt our faces off”!!! There’s so many to suggest, but my 3 favourites right now are Sleeping Sun, Fairy Tale and Battle Hymn. Battle Hymn had me so pumped up at the end that I felt like I could run through a brick wall.
