I can't wait for it! Bad Valentine is my new favourite song! She sings the s*&# out of that song!

Both covers of this are glorious but I prefer the stripped down version Piano Diaries. That version lets her voice absolutely shine. Thanks to Toby for asking her to sing this cover of his song for his Piano Diaries album. Toby is quoted saying, “Working with Angelina has been nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to channel profound emotion through her voice adds a whole new depth to the song.” They are also working on other songs for AJ. This will be huge for her.

Yes both versions use the same vocal track but the stripped down version allows you to hear the details in her performance more clearly.

I hope she can make it because it’s only fair to Toby and it’s another great opportunity for her to get more exposure. Do we really want someone else singing this song at that show? Her being there would help promote her version. I think the question was whether she would be back in LA by then. She’s been in Europe. Some comments have said that it’s announced that she will be there but where to find that confirmation is not known. She’s been asked on her Patreon but she hasn’t replied.

My thoughts on this. The more I look at this team the more excited I get. I like many had no idea who Toby Gad is. I learned about him after her first performance with him. Another Powerhouse Writer Producer who has worked with only the best of the Industry past and present. Diane Warren another legend visited with Angelina but little came of it. This is very different than that. Angelina and Toby have declared they are working on original material together that they hinted would be available this fall. We are all of course hoping is the long-awaited Album. Some predictions in the past have failed to materialize as predicted. Let's hope this is not the same. And I've been thinking about the timing which would be brilliant. Many have mentioned a release in September would be late to qualify for this year’s Grammys. What if that is the plan. We already have two Grammy worthy releases with 'If I Were a Boy' and 'Bad Valentine out right now which will be eligible this year. Produced and performed by two powerhouse singer/songwriters/producers in Angelina and Toby. All of the songs on the album would be eligible for the following year's Grammys. At least in this scenario. If one or both songs win a Grammy think about the runway that would have for a Full year and from the very same powerhouse duo. Having already won they will both be well known by then having already won the Grammy(s). All of those new songs from the new album will be eligible for those Grammys. They will be knocking on the door of the industry. Banging actually! I don't think she can be ignored anymore! Great reaction to a Beautiful song. One further thought. Hopefully the album is going to be more of the same or similar production. That being the case this is going to be the signature sound, style and voice that will be used to introduce Angelina to the World. This will be her sound, her style. This video is pure genius, for its style emulates closely an Academy award winning video by Bruce Springsteen when he performed 'Streets of Philadelphia' while simply walking the city streets.
